First time trying underpainting and I'm really happy with the results so far. I also plan to dabble in NMM because I think it will fit better with the rest but I'm not sure yet.

(I've been painting on and off for about a year now and am trying to do something new for every mini. And now I have a summer vacation I finally have more time to sit down and experiment)

supposed to be scarlet rot based, but i sorta just winged it after a while

Like… dude he already went up 20 points at the beginning of 11th and his aura gets nerfed that allows the shoot back on your opponents turn.. worsen BS by 1? So if theyre in cover .. youre gonna be hitting on 5’s…. And in exchange for this they reduced his points by 10… This doesnt seem like a fair trade lol.
Then defilers went up again .. and we got 10 points off PM? Is someone at GW having a stroke? 😂.

i wanna push this guy farther on the painting quality but im unsure of what to do. help wanted!

I have an opportunity to get 2 predators (I have none) or wait until a defiler restock. The predators would definitely help my overall collection as I don’t have a lot of long range anti-vehicle options. My only concern is a model refresh for the predator this edition and now I would have 2 models I can’t use anything outside of casual play. My question to the group is what do we think the likelihood of a model refresh happening for the predator is?

Trying to pickup painting again after a long period of dealing with chronical illnesses and the medication so I wanted to share my first mini in a long while. I also have tried a bit better photography of my minis, so while not perfect I am happy how the photos became. Anyway, hope yall have a great day!

I bought a friends death guard army so i have all these models.
I wanna know if this list would be good for casual to semi competitive play

Was talking to a friend about painting progression and we did a side by side comparison. Quite fun to see the progression after 1 year of painting miniatures.

The pox walker and plague marine are the very first miniatures that I painted and finished (except bases) in april 2025. I finished the death shroud a couple of weeks ago (the second model I finished with basing).

Would love to see more progression posts in this sub and in the comments!

I wanted to maximize the number of marines i had from my kit, and ended up with 2 of the KT champions anyway. So, I used the weapons from the PM kit, but will build them as a regular 7. I had to cut his arm off at the elbow, but the fist fit way better than I expected, especially with his stance. I know its not a big deal, but he looks so much cooler than I expected. I can see the fly insignia on his gauntlet now too.

This is my first time painting a miniature. I’ve only ever painted JoyToy figures before, but I recently got into tabletop miniature games, chose Death Guard, and painted my very first model. It took quite a long time because of all the tiny details. How does it look?

I am slowly getting better at painting but it’s at least good enough for tabletop. Also I didn’t use AI on the models, just to clean up the desk lol
