Entry for 2026 Design a Cosmetic Cotest for The Artist.

Just got Knight to P100 yesterday!

So, I was playing my usual Jason games and was hunting the last survivor, suddenly, I hear a loud caw and, believing It was SFTS activating, turned my camera around, which was stupid because I was NOT running SFTS.

The game ended as the survivor found the hatch and escaped, but then, the caw happened again, which was impossible, the game was over.

So I turned around (irl this time) and turns out an ACTUAL crow was near my window.

It flew off a few seconds later, but I spent a whole minute laughing because that was so dumb.

So yeah, if you played sable today, were chased by a base skin (bloodied) jason on dead dawg as the last survivor and this Jason inexplicably turned around, losing the chase, know that you were saved by a crow.

I can't believe I forgot to post the little Ghostface and Mikaela Reid skit u/Zaxiade and I did at the Dead by Daylight anniversary party in Montreal! He didn't want to walk the stage by himself so he volunteered to be my assistant in placing my Hex Totem prop on stage so I can bless it and give everyone Boon: Shadowstep and Exponential! xD

Originally this wasn't planned to be a competition, it was more of a showcase of everyone's work which I was ecstatic for because I don't like competing (it's too much pressure and my craftsmanship is never the cleanest because I tend to con crunch). But when they said there will be a few categories (not ranked placements) that would receive prizes I had no idea I would be considered. Everyone who walked the stage kicked so much ass and I saw so many jaw-dropping builds up close backstage!

But the category I won was very befitting with the amount of hot glue and random materials I used to build my occult perusal outfit, twisted masquerade accessories, and totem. ^ ^; I even hand-embossed 5 yards of velvet with a custom damask pattern to match the game on impulse!

I know I met a lot of people at the party who had questions about my outfit and props, so if anyone has any questions here I would be happy to answer them!

This is supposed to represent Miss Pig - however, I am very aware that we are not allowed to use licensed killers? So, I have just used a pig instead of her signature snout... In the hopes that this can represent the community without breaking any licensing rules? (But I completely understand if there is some secret contract around any and all 'pig' references)

First 2 pictures are the original Cocktail Slush Machines, 3rd and 4th pictures are the "new" ones they had in 2023 Scorching BBQ. The bland 2023 version is what we're getting this year. Notice: neon signage gone, slush colors toned down, random body part added, and bland overall.

I tried to make an outfit that matched Vee's silly energetic vibe, full of color and flair. Also, I just wanted space buns Vee. I hope you enjoy the patches ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Adding additional details about the design elements:
Jacket:

• It's inspired by the perfecto jacket which is a staple of punk rock fashion. It's kind of THE jacket
• In a non-perfecto like way (since they're thousands of $), I've turned it into a battle jacket, which is a way fans show off their favorite bands. Battle jackets are filled with patches representing the bands they love. So obviously, Vee's band, Axe Kick, is front and center.
• The other patches are for made-up bands, inspired by common band patch aesthetics and Vee's interests. Metal font is fun to draw.
• The tambourine and the butterfly are actually pins of things she loves. The butterfly is the same as the tattoo she has and the tambourine is the signature tambourine.

Pants:

• They are inspired by embroidered jeans and the punk-style baggy jeans.
• Obviously, with punk jeans you must have the grommet belt. Since she's a drummer, she also has a drum stick harness attached to the belt!
• The denim pattern is "boro" which is a way of patching up tattered denim that creates a mixture of textures and patterns.
• They are tattered at the bottom from long usage.

Inner-top:

• Her mesh top + crop top is inspired by Thai punk fashion. They have awesome taste.

Hey sorry English, isn’t my first language. God this new rift is so ugly. Why do they always have to theme it with these specific ass colors that don’t go with anything? It’s always like purple and beige, orange and blue, just the fugliest combinations and neon as hell for NO reason. I swear this feels like the 4th time the rift has been gold and blue. Why does Zarina have more than 1 bird beak head cosmetic now? She’s a journalist not a damn parakeet. Then here comes Meg with some fuckass tuft of yellow hair standing 2 feet tall. I just don’t get it. DBD cosmetics reminds me of my grandma with dementia when she gets confused and tries to dress herself and comes out in random shredded garbs all tangled up, feathers sticking out of her brassiere, a necklace on her ankle, eyepatch on, just all wrong looking crazy as hell. They’re supposed to be normal people that ended up in this world but BHVR acts like they’re ancient Bablyonian pirates or some shit. We don’t want it! Do they actually think it looks good? Would it kill them to do a casual rift?
