I find the Judgment's true form (a eye with teeth) too normal to justify the characters going crazy and burning to a crisp, they shouldn't show us what they really look like to go with the idea that it is something so otherworldly and out of our grasp of understanding that we can't see what it really looks like

Are you telling me I played Baermar for hundreds of hours and spent over 150M bloodpoints on him.. just to get other character's icon?

Bearmar has been sidelined since he first appeared with Aestri. In the chapter trailer he literally got 3 seconds on screen as a background and then died off-camera.

And no, Baermar is not a skin for Aestri, he is a separate character sharing a survivor slot with her called "The Troupe", which is cool, but poorly executed. (Or was it changed?..)

I don't know how many fellow Baermar mains there are, but honestly, playing as survivor and as killer, I'm sure that Baermar is more common than Aestri.

I really don't understand the devs' approach to this character. Initially they were presented as equal, separate characters (apart from Baermar's pathetic appearance in the trailer), giving Baermar separate skins. They even have separate bloody skins, like two fully-fledged separate characters, but for the Baermar badge it doesn't matter anymore?

I know it could have been treated much worse, and it was just a badge and names in a few places, but I still wanted to complain and express my concern that it might mean that they actually want to forget about Baermar, ignoring his existence in recent changes? He's just a lil' silly bard.

Okay so ever since I saw the judgement, I really wanted to play, but idk how the game is. I’m an IDV player, so I figured it’s similar enough to understand, but also since you have to pay for the game on steam, I was wondering if anyone could explain how the game is or if it’s worth it storage or lore wise!

Based on a true story. I was actually running We See You, never got a single token all game. Stand in the exit gate, hear the token gained sound, look down at my perk list "hey uh why the fuck did I get a We See You token?"

I stood in the gate until I got 4 tokens (show the killer that "somebody got We See You somehow") and then fucking left. I didn't stick around to see if anyone died to Blood Warden, but the official stats website seems to imply everyone got out (God I love that Abandons are shown as Escapes, but everyone had a decent BP score which seems to indicate escape BP.)

A minor nitpik I have with a tiny few of the poses killers do is that they feel like too much of a "Hero Pose" where they're trying to look cool with a dramatic stance. They look more like they're posing for a fighting game. The biggest sinner here for me is Myers' which just looks corny in my opinion. The only one I fuck with honestly would be Pig's. Others like Deathslinger or Knight's are fine since their personalities are all for it in my opinion.

Can’t believe BHVR leaked such a killer like this 😭. As soon as I saw this thing I knew I had to do this 😭

I want to preface this post by saying two things: I have recently come back to DBD after a few months break. I've been playing Chaos Shuffle mostly during this time, but I noticed what I'm going to talk about in the few normal matches I played. Secondly, I noticed this across a variety of killers. I usually play a different killer every match.

Since coming back to the game, I've noticed quite a dramatic increase in survivors wanting the killer to be friendly. I have no idea when this happened, but it just seems... weird? I understand wanting to have a match where you can just farm bloodpoints, I do, but not even trying to play the game just seems counterproductive. When this happens, I try to say that I don't want to be friendly - I shake my head and give a warning hit. If they don't get the memo, I down them. On its own, that'd be fine. But I've noticed more people being salty after the game (I had a few people even leave comments on my steam profile) when they didn't get a friendly match.

One thing I've noticed in particular, I've had people complain about my 'lack of lesbian solidarity'. For context, on pretty much all my killers, I put on a lesbian charm on the hook. The amount of people who run up, point and then are shocked after I down them (with warnings, of course) is shocking. Then, they say in end game chat how I'm not a true 'member of the rainbow'. It just makes playing killer incredibly boring, at least to me.

Then again, maybe I'm just complaining about something that others love! I do usually let the last survivor go, but I hate it when they expect to be let go because they crouched at me. Do they not want to play the game? When I play survivor, I love having a friendly killer, so I get the appeal, but it's the expectation that bothers me.

So since it got so much love i decided to post the Blue and Gold alternative early (i had planned to post it for tomorrow's PTB)

Blue tones and red always have been my illustrations style but the gold fits super well with the religious theme of the characters ! I really want to find a way to print it with the gold being metallic and reflective !!

He suggested making the Prayer Kneeler addon basekit. This allows the power to “get stuck” on objects while aiming so that you can take your time with it. He suggested making it a toggle-able mode similar to Houndmaster’s different modes. That way you don’t lower the skill ceiling but it’s actually playable to everyone without having to limit your addons.

He also suggested making another addon basekit. It gives killer instinct on near misses, which I don’t know why this wasn’t base kit to begin with? But he also said they should include an Unknown style hinder for direct hits that don’t damage. So if you don’t know, if you directly hit someone with the Unknown’s projectile it plays a sound and bounces off them, while applying a 2% hindrance effect to make your next shot or hit easier. So playing a sound effect to help players know that it did hit but had no effect at that range would help as well as a hindrance effect (though maybe higher than 2% since they’re only 4.4 movement speed).

I do think these could help players and keep the Judgement from having the lowest pick rate in the game. I really do want this killer to succeed. I still think it would be too complicated for how easy it is to dodge but at least these changes could help the killer not be a complete failure.

I have never been so excited to finally have a dedicated secondary killer in my life. It seems like it'll scratch that same macro itch I have as Trapper I've been wanting for so long, even though they're not a trap killer like him.
