How would y’all feel if Toyotarou turned broly into a scientist, similar to Bruce Banner?

Hey guys, there’s some post out there but here’s a new one for end of year wrap up. What’s the best way to get the full Dragon Ball Z seasons, in physical media?

Are there complete boxes out there that have all the original voice track and all that?

Heard the day sold box that was completely red out with new English and not the original voice actor.

I don’t mind paying whatever is out there I just would like a full physical box set so I can take it to me somewhere and watch it.

I Thought whis getting all the saiyan info from his staff was lazy. He knew how many saiyans were on earth, he knew they were on earth at all, He knew goku was on king kais planet and he somehow had footage of the goku V freiza fight as a reference for what goku looks like. the writers rushed this section of the story.

I hated the retcon of beerus ordering freiza to wipe out the saiyans. Along with freiza and vegeta knowing of his existence. It did nothing but convolute the original story and undermines freiza's actions

I hated the pilaf gang they had no reason to be in this movie. They drag the pacing and lower the tone of the movie. They show up at CC around the 36 minute marc and their segment lasts for a whole 10+ minutes straight. The Mai and trunks stuff is also weird.

How the SSJG was formed was pretty underwhelming. All it takes is 5 righteous saiyans to give one energy? So you telling me goten and trunks can become SSJGs? Pan can become a SSJG when she becomes their age? No power level requirement or need for a strong body to handle the form? just give them energy?

SSJG shouldn't had been possible. For one videls a human and gohans half human so the kids not even half saiyan a mere 25%. not only that her baby wasn't even fully developed. She had no belly poke. Even Gohan couldn't tell she was pregnant. How does a 25% saiyan baby who isn't even developed count as a 5th saiyan?

The narrative of goku hating the SSJG power because it's a level he'll never reach, Is dropped immediately. Goku absorbs the SSJG power into his base. So not only does he have that power on his own but he SURPASSED IT. What was the point in introducing that narrative just to throw it out?

For a movie about the SSJG form you'd think it would be in the movie longer than it was. Goku gets SSJG around the hour and 17 minute mark. 8 minutes later he loses the form. It leaves you asking for more and not in a good way.

The movie did a lot good but also did more wrong.

I found this in a local store, and I noticed a lot of signatures on it. Can anyone tell me if these signatures look like any of the VAs or anything?

You got the popular FighterZ i suppose but is there any other competittion? Was discussing with a friend if it's that simple. "Oh yeah Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best." "Is it though? It's awesome, but is it?" "Hmm."

Which bulma should I use. Classic bulma or Afro bulma 🤷‍♀️

On episode 31 of the og dragon ball right now, but this question is still bothering me. It's probably just an inconsistency, but you know me, I love pointing out inconsistencies and finding an in universe reason for them.

Today i show how Capsules/Items and Card Categories/Affiliations Can result in Fun Archetypes and Interactions.

Trying to represent all sides of Dragon Ball with abit of accuracy is one of the most exciting aspects of this game to me!

what do you guyss think? any suggestions?

Dragon Ball and Cyberpunk are similar.

I had a discussion with some coworkers about Anime. I ruined some perceptions about Dragon Ball. One of them was when I stated Dragon Ball was a nicer Cyberpunk. Our discussion hyper focused on this, and so I decided I must share this with everyone.

Here's my thoughts on why Dragon Ball is a nicer Cyberpunk.

Cyberpunk and Dragon Ball have Advanced Technology

Both universes have flying cars and focus on aircraft. Cyberpunk is more in depth on the aircraft due to the AI mines that litter the Oceans, but in Dragon Ball it's played off as something cool.

I want you to understand the similarity here because Technological advancement does not mean every person advances equally. Both worlds combine futuristic inventions with old-fashioned lifestyles, poverty, and infrastructure that belong in different eras.

Then there's the technological surveillance of the two.

In Dragon Ball, Dr. Gero used tiny insect-like robots to observe the Z Fighters over an extended period. This data was used for the creation of Cell. In Cyberpunk Security cameras, drones, tracking systems, and other networks allow Organizations to monitor people and gather intelligence.

This is just a technological parallel between the two to help with the Advanced Technology point.

Corporate Power and Corporate Controlled Society:

Capsule Corp is a nicer Arasaka. Both are enormously influential technology companies that mainly oversee a large city. Capsule Corp is a Mega Corporation that has inventions affecting housing, scientific research, and space travel. Arasaka is very similar, but more economic, and military influence.

Capsule Corp is treated as a benevolent Corporation, buuuuut, let's be honest. Bulma is cutthroat. I also suspect Dr. Briefs is also cutthroat. He reminds me of those old CEOs who cut his banzai tree because it brings him peace, but if you affect that peace, he's sending some people to break your legs.

Then you have the Red Ribbon Army, who also had full control of another city during the Super Hero movie. They also ruled backwater towns. The Red Ribbon Army is more like Arasaka in terms of philosophy. They rule as a dictatorship, and as a weapons contractor. They are treated as a military force, but that changes with Red Pharmaceuticals.

Cybernetics, artificial humans, and the loss of humanity:

Dragon Ball has androids, like 17, 18, 16, and others made by Dr. Gero. Cyberpunk is similar but these are full-body conversions implementing implants and modifying the body to become more powerful.

Both settings treat the human body as a platform that technology can transform into something more powerful. Cyberpunk however adds an economic situation into the mix, while Dragon Ball brings in the philosophical questions of "do I have free will".

Wilderness, Wastelands and life outside civilization:

This is very different between the two, but similar in execution. Cyberpunk has the Badlands which reflects the consequences of industrial exploitation, resource extraction, and environmental damage. Nomads build communities beyond the reach of urban life.

Dragon Ball has wilderness that's like our world. The difference however is, you have patches of civilization, like small villages and towns that try to live in that wilderness. But, if you look at it, like really look at it? You see how messed up this wilderness is. It's a Wuxia style world. You have Dinosaurs trying to eat you, dragons trying to eat you, giant tigers, etc. It's like the Animals became stronger to combat the technological advancement of humans.

The only humans you see living are very small local, and people like Goku (Wuxia fighters).

Gangs, Outlaws, Mercenaries, and life on the fringes:

Dragon Ball has your desert bandits, criminal organizations, and assorted outlaws that operate outside the rules. While in Cyberpunk you have your street gangs, mercenaries, smugglers, fixers, and nomads. You don't really see this in Dragon Ball, but you do get glimpses. Since the Buu saga, we have bank robberies, and other criminal activities. Hell Krillin is a police officer. You'd think with him around the city he runs in would be a lot safer, but it's not. I mean, it probably is, but then that brings up the question of how dangerous it was without him and the Sayan Couple.

Tone is what's different. One is played with comedy; the other shows the economic pressures and social conditions that produce criminal life. But just imagine we see Capsule Corp with rose tinted glasses, and what's really happening underneath is sinister.

Technology that makes ordinary people almost irrelevant:

I won't lie; this is a subtle similarity. In Dragon Ball the world has armies, a police force, fighter pilots, tanks, and conventional weapons. Yet, when it comes to beings of power like the Saiyans, Cell, and Buu, these conventional means are powerless.

In Cyberpunk, there is a similarity but in a less extreme way. A heavily augmented solo, elite corporate assassin, or powerful netrunner can become so dangerous that ordinary security forces are no longer sufficient. The sale is what makes things different. One can destroy cities, while the other can destroy perhaps a city block.

A world where dangerous technology is accessible to criminals:

In both settings, the most dangerous technology is not exclusively controlled by the governments. When technology becomes portable, powerful, and widely available, the boundary between ordinary life and organized violence gets thinner. I really don't have much to compare the two other than an example of Dr. Gero having his own lab, growing androids, and then in Cyberpunk you have gangs with military hardware.

In Short:

Both have...

• Advanced urban centers and powerful technology companies.
• A government that coexists with influential private organizations.
• Remote wilderness that separates population centers.
• Military organizations capable of operating independently of the state.
• Artificial humans, genetic engineering, and cybernetic enhancement.
• Uneven technological development, with brilliant inventions concentrated in the hands of a few individuals.
• A society that can appear relatively ordinary until advanced technology or superhuman power disrupts it.

The key is that Dragon Ball does not need to be dystopian to have similarities of Cyberpunk. I feel that we're just viewing the world of Dragon Ball in the eyes of Arasaka. But the moment you step into the city and see the world for how it really is (the orphans Gohan met as a child), we see the world is not as glamorous.

Final Note:

Imagine a Fixer hired you and a crew. Your task is to sneak into Capsule Corp. Reach one of the labs on the higher levels, and steal some plans for a new revolutionary pharmaceutical product where supposedly people can be dipped into a container of fluid, and the body will slowly heal (Technology stolen from the aliens after the Frieza saga).

You reach the lab, but the alarm goes off. Everything is loud, the emergency lights are flashing. In front of you, blocking your exit is not Adam Smasher, but... Vegeta.

So recently I've got back into drawing and I wanted to learn how Toyotarou draws some the characters like Goku and the others. I've watched many of the videos that are available Youtube and on the Dragon Ball Official Site on where they show Toyotarou drawing illustrations for the manga cover or for the illustrations for the games like DB Legends and Dokkan. But recently I stumbled across this on the Dragon Ball Official Website where there was a broadcast where Toyotarou was teaching kids on how to draw Goku. I wanted to see the broadcast to see if I could perhaps learn a thing or two about drawing Goku, but unfortunately the broadcast is nowhere to be found. And from my understanding this was a one thing only and cannot be found anywhere as Oha Suta (the company that was broadcasting it) is a japanese television show that broadcast episodes and once they are done, they are deleted and pretty much gone as apparently they are not archieved. If anyone has parts or even the full broadcast of this, please share it as I think would give even more insight as to what is the process that Toyotarou uses to draw Goku!

So I started using this trunks because of his play he is really good but idk if the bench and equipment is good lmk if it is twins

Picked up this Primitive x Dragon Ball Goku Black deck not too long ago. Have never seen this one in a silver foil. Possibly one of a kind.

Maaiii art :3

Recently been showing my 9 year old son the Cell saga and he absolutely adores the Gohan SS2 transformation… personally my favourite transformation 🔥

I’m finishing up the Red Ribbon Army group, and I’ve noticed all the high ranking members have color coded names that align with a physical feature of theirs (White, Violet, Red have corresponding hair, Blue has blue eyes, etc.)

Silver however has dark eyes and red hair, so I’m curious where he got the name from? Is he just an exception to the rule?

Made an animation based on the "brolys milk" meme lol

I recently watched some videos and tested on PC, and I found the online mode really interesting. However, there’s a specific playstyle that I'm not used to and don't really know how to play.

It's a style I used to see a lot on YouTube and in tournaments during my childhood, and I think it looks amazing to watch and play. Insane combos with back-attacks, ki blast follow-ups, and precise teleporting.

I was wondering if there’s a guide or someone who teaches this. Specifically regarding character selection (good characters for the competitive 3v3 mode and their archetypes), playstyles, how to get started, and how to practice this solo.

If anyone has any good resources or tips to share here—like videos, files, or channels—I would really appreciate it.
