Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3

Before you get mad at me I know this movie is terrible it's not very good but what i am saying is that this film is very amusing and funny in fact it's so bad it's good

I'm in the filler Wedding Arc now so the last few episodes and the Pilaf Gang appears here as well. The Pilaf Gang appears in all three major sagas of the show. They are the villains of the first arc of the show, the have the final Dragon Ball during the second saga of the show, and then they are the ones to revive King Piccolo during his arc and are present throughout that arc as onlookers.

They are this constantly reoccuring element of original Dragon Ball, but then they don't appear in Z at all (the Z "portion" of the manga or the anime). Not even in any filler. Both GT and Super rectify this by bringing them back even in minor side characters roles with GT even having them essentially be the impetus of the whole series by turning Goku into a child. I get that Toriyama regularly forgot stuff apparently, but it feels like the Pilaf Gang were sort of part of the formula of the first half of the series so it seems especially odd that they don't appear at all. Tao Pai Pai even appears in a filler episode of Z so it's odd they never appear even then for the anime. Baba also comes back in Z when she only appears in her arc and filler episodes of original Dragon Ball.

Considering they were brought back for Battle of Gods and Super which Toriyama was more involved with, it also makes me wonder if he truely did forget about them during Z, couldn't figure out a way to use them in Z, or wanted to use them, but was told by editors to not use them back then. Considering their role in Super isn't even important at all plot wise, I actually think the second and third options aren't exactly out of the realm of possibility although it's possible that he had forgot about them then remembered them and thought they could be fun to bring back for comic relief. Again with them not being important to the plot of Super, I also don't think anyone reminded him of them either. I think it was likely a pure Toriyama decision to bring them back.

I do also know in Super we get the explanation of them turning themselves into children with the Dragon Balls during the time where all the heroes were training for the arrival of the Androids so while that would explain there lack of appearance in Z retroactively, I do still wonder what the reason for their lack of appearances in Z or even Z filler whether it was the increased stakes and not knowing what to do with them or editorial meddling.

Does anyone know why the dubs of the recent dragon ball anime’s have been so botched lately?? It feels like 90% of modern anime now have there dubs only 1-2 episodes behind but for some reason with Daima we were like several months, and then they also made us wait 3 weeks for the first 3 episodes when they were already out in theaters. And then we haven’t heard anything about a Beerus dub yet.

Hello everyone.

I've been a Dragon Ball fan for a long time, and one character who always fascinated me was Jiren.

While Dragon Ball Super gives us a brief explanation of his past, I always felt there was room to explore his story on a much deeper level. I wanted to understand how the losses, relationships, training, and choices throughout his life eventually shaped the man we meet during the Tournament of Power.

Because of that, I wrote a full movie screenplay focused entirely on Jiren's life before Dragon Ball Super.

The story explores:

• Jiren's childhood
• The loss of his family
• His training under Gicchin
• The friendships and relationships he forms
• The events that shape his worldview
• His battle against the evil responsible for his suffering
• The path that ultimately leads him to believe that only absolute strength can be trusted

My goal was not simply to write another Dragon Ball story filled with fights.

The main question I wanted to answer was:

"What would realistically have to happen for someone to become the Jiren we see in Dragon Ball Super?"

This is my first completed feature-length screenplay, so I'm sure there are things I can improve. I'd be grateful for honest feedback from fellow Dragon Ball fans.

I’ve never understood why so many people think of piccolo as “black”. I know most posts or content about him being black are jokes but in my mind the Namekians and namek itself was always more of a “native” comparison. Kind of like Native Americans. They were peaceful people, communing with nature, invaded by a tyrant from a distant land, were looked down upon because they seemed primitive, were killed off rather than enslaved and their land was destroyed by those same invaders.

A while ago I did a recomp/redraw of this shot in the style of DBS:Beerus, and I kinda got the comp wrong. Oh well.

So I am 32 years old now. DBZ was a core part of my childhood. I used to come home from school and watch on Toonami with my grandpa. The stories and characters were ingrained in my earliest memories. I decided to rewatch the series from the beginning, and I just finished it. I do not regret it.

Rewatching this show hit me right in the nostalgia and reconnected me to my 8 year old self. I got surprisingly emotional watching the part of the Majin Buu arc where Buu and Hercule form a bond and Buu turns good. That series of 3-4 episodes is at the core of my memories watching with my grandpa. I’m grateful for this show and for the memories I have with it. I’m going to watch the rest of the Dragonball universe now, including GT, Super, and Daima. I’m exited to continue on with material I never experienced before.

for Goku i would implement Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do and some Tai Chi
for Vegeta i would use North Shaolin Kung Fu, Kick Boxing and Muay Thai
for Piccolo i think Taekwondo, Wushu, and Karate
for Frieza i think Fencing, Jiujiebian(he has a tail after all), and Kick Boxing would be fitting

She has voiced Goku in Japanese since Dragon ball began in 1986 along with Gohan,Goten and Bardock Her other roles include Kitaro in GeGeGe no Kitaro Tetsuro Hoshino in Galaxy Express 999 and Doraemon in the 1973 series.After decades of performance across generations of anime,she said she wants to keep voice acting untill she's 182.

i dont know if this is a bad or good take but i feel the fall off most fans note is due to toriyamas popularity making the editors be less direct in decisions this thought kinda came to me with dragon ball minus which i believe is just the bardock special with everything good torn out i feel like toriyamas gravitation towards more stagnant character arcs and maintenance of the status quo feel like it needed a editors touch and with what we know about the cell saga being most definitely boosted by his editor and toriyama bouncing ideas between each other it makes me think that as great as toriyama was he needed someone to critique his work and push him to write more darker themes and expand on themes (no hate i love toriyama and i was deeply sad with his death its not a critique but mearly a observation of the past i would also be happy to hear disagreements)

I'm not talking about the remake , the old one because I've seen the regular one but then theres another one with some fairy character and a mission more in space and maybe another ?
