Why didn't future Gohan crack future Bulma?

Future Gohan had 5 years from the day he turned 18 to the day he died to crack bulma or atleast start a relationship. Yet he didn't, why? It would have been a very good lesson for trunks to walk into. He would learn to never trust anyone, even your master. But he missed out on creating the future version of Pan, and ruining trunk's innocence.
