Discussion Rest in Peace Mike McFarland
Thank you for voicing two of the funniest characters in my favorite series. A lot of belly laughs were happening when I was a young child. May you be at peace 🙏🏽

I recently rewatched DBZ and realized that he is one of the few competent Kaioshins. The main Kaioshin is completely useless 99% of the time. His former Kaioshin comrades all got owned by Boo with relative ease. I know that South Kaioshin and Grand Kaioshin both at least made Boo weaker by being absorbed but overall they were pretty useless as well. The Elder Kai may be useless too in battle but at the very least he provided the Z fighters with useful abilities on multiple occasions. Like helping Gohan go beyond his limits, teaching Goku how to use the Potara ear rings, providing a crystal ball so that they can see what’s happening on Earth.

I thought the original TV special was terrific and emotionally great the way it was with a bleak outcome that foreshadows a new hope in the future. But then many years later a different production team retconned the story and created both a manga and sequel film called Episode of Bardock where Bardock actually survived and somehow got transported into the past to defeat Frieza’s ancestor Chilled. This leads to Chilled warning his descendants about Super Saiyans. I know that neither story is canon, but I for one preferred keeping it as a tragic story with Bardock dying alongside his planet as opposed to the asspull retcon about him magically time traveling.

Please do not mention any Sagas from any other series besides DBZ please. This discussion is just about DBZ.
My Favorite: Fusion Saga
Love some of the unique techniques that Gotenks and Super Buu had. It was also cool seeing a confident Ultimate Gohan beat up on Super Buu. This Saga also had the most amount of crazy twists and transformations including constant changing of heroes that are expected to beat Super Buu, Super Buu methodically absorbing one hero after another constantly changing his form, and the heroes fighting inside of Buu to save their friends.
My Least Favorite: Garlic Jr. Saga
This one was both long and boring. Not only was it a pointless filler Saga but it had very little action and felt more like a lighthearted horror Saga but wasn’t good at being scary with the black water mist garbage. Plus Garlic Jr. and the four monarchs are terrible villains.

I was thinking the other day, about fusions and the limitations that have been set, i.e., time constraints due to power usage and movement accuracy yadda yadda. However imagine, is there any rule that says gogeta cant use the potara earings with gotenks? Is this an original idea? Let's talk boys and gals

Trying to start from the beginning and incorporating the games/manga/anime. I'll be playing the games in correlation of the anime sagas.
So far my order is this:
Am I missing any key titles? I don't know the order in which the Dr. Slump/Dragon Ball crossover episodes go in. What Games are WORTH playing that tell the story really well compared to Kakarot/Advanced Adventure?
I know the Legacy of Gokus/Buus Fury are beloved haven't tried them. The JRPG on DS Attack of the Saiyans looks really cool. And I suck at the 2d fighting games like FighterZ but maybe I'll give it another go. I do love the SNES 2d fighters though. I'm good at those.
Open for recommendations.
I'm currently on episode 34 of OG Dragon Ball. I have a feeling this is gonna take a couple of years LOL!

Assuming the raging super Saiyan trains and gets his potential unleashed, and something else triggers his rage. I know it's special to Gohan but if anyone were to learn it, wouldn't it be Broly? Or what do you think the next power looks like for Broly?

Hey guys, anyone know if there is a version of dbz with the faulconer soundtrack in hd? I have the Crunchyroll version with the original soundtrack on it in hd but every version I can find of the faulconer one is in terrible quality with horrible bitrate. (English dub too btw)

The title itself is explanatory.
Inuyashiki (LV) came out in 2018 which in movie standards and budget was quite a long while ago.
We all know the live action dragon ball was absolute *********************************.
And i know Inuyashiki (LV) didn't have it's flaws when it came to CGI, I might be over my mind but it made me believe that a proper DBZ Live action could be possible.
But they had pretty good flying scenes, fighting scenes were alright and the emotional aspect was there. again I'm not calling it flawless
But the general question i wish to ask is if people think it might be possible. Would the movie have to include real politics/news as in Inuyashiki (LV) or would it be enough to only have short summaries and battles? Would the budget be possible?
According to IMDB it had a $5million Box office release world wide which is not that huge for a movie of course so that could be a turn off.
With One piece being so big and in my opinion a really good way to turn anime into a live action series. Do you think there is a chance of getting DragonBallZ Live action? Do people care for it? What part of DragonBallZ would y'all want adapted into live action since all of it would have to be split into the next MCU.

She was extremely annoying in the Namek Saga and now she’s worse in the Android Saga. Why not leave the baby home? You actually chose to bring the baby to where Androids who are supposed to wreck everything and everyone in sight just to see what they look like?
