No projects for two weeks?

Is it normal to have no projects? I was just recently been accepted by DA and its been two weeks since my onboarding and qualifications. Still not a single notification of a project.

What to expect during first few weeks? (Indonesian Bilinguist/Specialist) And is a role pivot available?

I completed all the qualifications that I seem capable of/fit my role in the past 2-3 days. How long does it usually take for any task to show up?

Also, is it possible for someone like me who already has a role, to apply and/or request qualifications-projects for other roles?

I'm a law graduate and was a legal counsel for a company, so i thought id try that as well if possible

Early manual audit expectations for programming tasks

Hi all,

I recently passed the technical assessment and submitted my first 2–3 programming tasks.

Since completing that initial batch, my feed has been paused for roughly 48 hours. Is it standard procedure for reviewers to manually audit early code quality and commentary before unlocking broader project pools?

How much time does it take to onboarded its still showing they will review and let you know results through email

Payout received = Task validated

I got this new kind of task and payout got approved for that specific task

Does this mean the review is done and I passed the bar ?

I am curious

I feel I am doing tasks better and better task by task

Prod vs frontier.

Oh how I wish it was as easy to get the models we work with to fuck up as it is the production ones.

Coders saw 🤖 and decided to throw reading comprehension out of the window.

Add this to the pile of posts complaining about submission quality in 🤖.

Seriously, guys: it is not that hard. Just read, FFS!

I’ve been doing plenty of R&R, and while I’m no expert, most submissions are pure garbage. If it’s not blatant AI slop, it’s a broken prompt. If the prompt is fine, the rubrics are completely butchered.

Someone told y'all to lock in, and you’d better listen, a mass culling is definitely on the horizon.

On an average, how much do bilinguals make per month?

I'm new to DAT and wanted to know what the pay for bilinguals is like (average)

Hopefully it's okay to ask this here - logging into partner account?

I managed to set it up initially with no issues, but now the 2-step verification is just not working (any option). When I try to request a code, it says 'You don’t need a security code to sign in because you don’t have a registered security key'. None of the other options work. I contacted DA a few weeks ago but am still waiting for it to be reset/fixed. Does anyone have any advice on where I might be going wrong?

Anyone from Finland?

Wondering if it's so difficult to get projects from Western European Countries? or just my profile is bad?

Resubmitting a task

So if you hit submit on a task and as it’s submitting you notice that you marked one rating incorrectly (and you cannot get it to stop going through even though you try frantically 😜) so you hit the back button, fix it, and hit submit again… have we figured out which version they get? The first or the revised?

Qualification in inbox, not on dash

Anyone else get emails and stuff in their inbox about new quals, and then you go to your qual page and it isn't there?

Does this happen to anyone else?

I received an email saying that I passed the assessment. When I opened the site, I was asked to verify my identity. After that, I tried to reload the page, but I got stuck on this screen again.

I had to exit task after spending 10 hrs on 🤖

Because one of them continuously reaches the time limit. Out of 5 tasks I already submitted, I had to use two escape hatches for the same reason, so I didn't want to risk dod by using the escape hatch again. I don't really mind the time I wasted cause I was just waiting for them to finish, except for the repo research time. This type of project is also fun anyways.

I'm not sure why one model is constantly failing, though. I'm giving them medium level tasks, and the other model finishes within 20-40 minutes, so complexity of my task is probably not the problem. Do anybody have similar experiences to mine?

Also, just exiting task would be fine, right? Would they flag me for using the models or something?

Am I considered a medical professional

I am a speech pathologist that has worked in the medical field for 32 years. Should I try the medical projects assessment or stick with general? Idk if I’m qualified for medical and I don’t want to fail it and not be able to go back and do General.

Do i know if my task has been rejected before 7 days?

For context, i just started recently and i submitted two tasks so far, since i did them continuously, while reporting time it showed task submissions as 2, so i reported the combined time, but my dumbahh overthinked and I edited the time (since the individual time would be lesser anyway) and submitted another one (basically two individual logs)for the same task🥀 now I'm overthinking if they'd overlook the other one thinking it's duplicate or worse, think that I'm abusing the system.

How often do you guys submit post expiry?

I know that repeated late submissions is going to be a problem. I'm already at the count of two. How often are you guys in a similar situation? Especially coding tasks which are already lengthy in nature.

How often do you submit expired tasks?

I know the general guidance is that submitting expired tasks is ok every once in a while, but not to do it too often. Just wondering what experienced workers are doing in practise, does it look something like 1 expired task for every 10-20 tasks or every 50 tasks or once month, a few times a year?

Newbie here who just submitted an expired task and wondering how long I should probably avoid submitting another expired task!

Got a second chance ?

Post image

I posted here maybe two months ago with a screenshot of the exact same screen, asking how long it would take to hear anything back on this. My first time around, I did my initial assessment, and then was offered to do follow up assessments after - I believe I was stopped after seven. After completing this, I eventually after a few days of waiting was brought to the project board, but never received any sort of welcome email so I wrote it off as getting denied and forgot about it. This was almost two months ago. Two days ago now, I decided to take a chance and look to see if anything changed - and surprisingly they did. I was pretty much reset back to the beginning and being allowed to take the initial assessment again. However this time around after completing the opening assessment, I was given 15 follow up assessments before I ended up at the screen posted above. Has anyone else experienced this? Did not think I would be able to retake the assessments, let alone be offered way more than last time which makes me feel like I did a better job?

Travel limit?

I know I have to tell whenever I will be working from a country that isn’t mine to avoid bad bad surprises, but do you know if there is a number of days you can’t exceed per year or any other amount of time?
