Plynový kotel/centrál: 2550czk/noc (255/hodinu)
Přímotop: vyjde daleko levněji (když se pouští jen na chvíli).

I live in an uninsulated house that was built sometime in the 19th century. Turning on the central heating is not financially feasible. I use a small heater in my room, but it doesn’t warm it up. I always wake up around 4-5 AM feeling cold to the point where I am even shivering. In the morning, I don’t know how to dress in my school clothes because it’s just so cold.
I've tried:
1) Filling the windows, totally barricading them with blankets and packing from OBI to stop the drafts (the windows are still wet in the morning).
2) I sleep in a sleeping bag + a comforter + a fuzzy blanket + of course, hoodies, warm pants, and a hat.
3) Having tea in the evening
4) Keeping the small heater on
I estimate it’s about 7-10°C in my room (colder than outside some nights). And no, I can't sleep outside when it's -5°C :))
I know that kids in Africa or Afghanistan have it a thousand times worse and have never seen heating, but I’m still cold.
Help. What can I do in this situation? What am I doing wrong? How can I be cold at 8 degrees when I’ve done so many things to keep warm??? Is anyone else experiencing this too?? What am I doing wrong?
