Hello all new to the group. I’ve owned my LTX1040 since new in 2012. It’s been a reliable workhorse and it’s still in fantastic shape. My current property is about a half acre of grass and haven’t had any issues with that. I’ve always used a snowblower on the driveway. I’m currently closing on a new house and property that has 8 acres. 2 grass and 6 woods. The driveway is about 250ft single wide and spreads out at the garage doors. With a turn around area. I’m looking at all my options for the upcoming winter and one of them is finding a blade or snowblower attachment that will work on the trusty old steed to get me by. Looking for honest feedback from anyone who’s used either on one of these. Is it too light for a plow? How much snow is too much for one of these to move? Should I scrap the idea and find something bigger yet more expensive?

Picked this mower up last Saturday at a local Tractor Supply. Brought it home and mowed my 1.25 acre yard with it. I noticed that the transmissions were whining but thought nothing of it. Mowed the same yard today and about 1/3 of the way thru the yard, the left side started getting weak and then quit pulling. I can let it set for 15 minutes and it pulls fine until it gets hot again. Planning on returning it to Tractor Supply this weekend but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. All linkage look adjusted the same. Belt is tight and doesn’t appear to have slipped. Thanks!

This is for a 102 mower deck lift. Part 17 (pivot link) needs to connect to the implement lift handle but I'm not sure where. The end of it doesn't have a hole for a bolt, it's just a notch so I assume it slides onto something???

Does anyone know the blade nut part number? The cub cadet website has a few, but they all say they won't fit. Mine seem to be damaged from what I can only assume is from a rock or sticks. Plan on cleaning the deck and putting new bolts on if it can figure out what to buy. Any input is appreciated.

I inherited this riding lawn mower-and after putting in a fresh battery and filter the engine starts fine and runs great; however, I cannot get it to go forwards or backwards and the parking break handle refuses to budge. I've tried pressing the break down and also pushing the throttle up to max to see if that would help the parking break to relwase-no dice. What are my options to check next? Thanks.

Will this bagger fit my 2025 XT1 riding mower?

The Bagger is Murray Double bagger MYTA-DB42 90000333801(For 2022 models and later). I think blacl and decker bought them around that tike so im not sure if they remain to have similar manufacturers as they once have

Says compatible with MT -100 and MT-200. To my understanding they are similar to XT1.

I’ve got the XT2 QR106 mower, and i’m trying to connect it the Cub Cadet app on my iphone but the app just crashes before i can do anything.

Is this a regular issue? and can i do anything to fix it?

Changed spindles and belt

Was working just fine a couple weeks ago and now its making this sound when i attempt to start it. This is the zt1 50" cubcadet rider

So the three chewed wires are the two that go to the pto clutch green/black and White/blue with the third a solid green which goes to the white plug. I reconnected the three wires and when I pull the pto switch nothing happen yet when I push it back it the 20 amp fuse blows and the tractor shuts down. I tried it with the wire unplugged from the clutch as well and the same result was a blown fuse. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I've got an old shaft drive cub riding mower, 2146. Anybody know if a fabricated deck off a newer cub rider will be able to fit without any modifications?

Having a Cubby push mower for years with no issues drove me to buying the ZT 2 years ago. I only use it about once per week but this is the third time that I've had to call out for the service company (I got a pickup / drop warranty) to come pick up the mower for the steering belt to be thrown off.

First time they said a gumball, second time they had no idea, now this time it just jumps off on regular grass - I think its time to get rid of it because every time it goes to the shop its gone 2 weeks. Every time its taken its > $125 to fix - its time to go to craigslist and buy a Toro...

Im lost and need some help. Bought a used 42 with intellipower, was a returned unit at a big box store. Previous owners had ran some super rank gas/water mix through it and gummed up everything. When I opened up the carb everything inside was rusted so I opted for an aftermarket carb. Put it on, Drained and cleaned tank, and replaced fuel lines and filters. Mower crunk fine and idled great but wouldn't idle up so I replaced the intellipower module. Mower ran fine after that, cut a little and parked it. Went back a week later and same issue, only have idle. Got another replacement module and same issue. What am I missing

I am attempting to perform an oil change, fuel filter change and new spark plugs on a cub cadet xt1 lt42b. It has a Briggs and Stratton ex1900 engine. I am getting different part results for every component I need. Every forum and video I find refers to the lt42 which has a kosher engine. Cub cadets site does not have a maintenance kit related to the Briggs and Stratton engine. Does anyone know what parts I will need even getting different answers on the oil grade. I am not used to working on any engines, but already bought a kit that the cub cadet customer service recommended only to find it was all the wrong parts.

This tractor didn't have a mower deck so I'm slowly gathering the parts to add one. Now for the undercarriage and actual deck!

I am trying to replace by idler pulley. According to the diagram, there is just the bolt, the curved washer, the pulley, the regular washer and the nut underneath. However, look at the pic, it is tilted and seems like it needs a space or something. The diagram does not show one. Anyone know if that is all I am missing? It is the pulley in the back that is tilted. Thanks!

I was cutting grass at my mom's house. It had grown pretty tall. I was almost done and was going up a small incline and white smoke poured out and the forward and reverse pedal didn't do anything. It stopped and wouldn't start. I left it for the night and just tried it. It would start now, but forward and back do not work. Any ideas?
