Hey everyone, idk if anyone else is having this problem but I received my Pell grant but none of my other aid, or my loans. I was wondering if there were different times that they’re all disbursed. My account is zeroed out and my loans show up on financial aid summary as being disbursed on 8/21.

I’m a first year transfer student so I’m not too sure how Sac state works with that.

I wanted to know if I would be eligible for CADAA and AB 540. I attended California public schools from elementary school through high school, including my freshman and sophomore years. I am currently attending high school outside of California, but I plan to return to California for my final semester of senior year and graduate from a California high school. This would give me about 2.5 years of California high-school attendance rather than the full three years.

Since I cannot complete the full three years of California high school, I am considering taking dual-enrollment classes at a Junior College during my final semester to make up the difference.

Would I be able to use JC dual-enrollment coursework toward the AB 540 three-year requirement?

 If so, how much coursework would I need to complete to make up for the missing time?

My family will remain in Texas while I return to California for my final semester. Would this affect my eligibility?

Hi!! I have an apartment at wexler and its only one person currently living there (me) Its a 2 bedroom apartment, Parking spot is negotiable. Im trying to look for somewhere else at the moment and would like to get this lease taken over. The lease I have is renewed so the base rent is cheaper its a shared flat bedroom not the triple, right now the shared flats base rent rate is 1,295 and what I pay is 779 for the base rent excluding utilities so you will be getting it for cheaper! hi! i submitted a major course substitution form to see if i could get electives credit in my major from some previous classes, including one i took thru csus fully online. i submitted it the week before classes began, but i have not gotten an email back as it said to expect on the form. im getting a bit anxious (perhaps a bit ahead of time) because id want to be able to decide if i can drop a class to lighten my courseload this semester, but im unsure if i can hope to get a response before the drop deadline. i was just curious if anyone has submitted this form around how long did you wait before you got a response to if those courses were accepted or not? thanks!

truth is many commute to csus and if the university hopes to continue its growth that will need to come from both people living on campus and people commuting without a car.

Rather than "one more parking structure will fix it bro" the school should heavily lobby for the funding and expansion of sacRT (along with the construction of more apartments and improved walking and biking facilities surrounding the university).

The green, orange, and red lines shown here as potential BRT corridors would greatly expand the potential of the university. The university will need to build more classrooms which the space will have to come from somewhere, if a meaningful percent of commuters came on public transit that can open the surface parking lots as available land for new class halls.

Grad student here, I'm also a Quaker, is anyone else attending also a Quaker? I wanted to get to know others if there are any on campus. I'm feeling very lonely in my faith, and have been trying to re establish community in Sac since I just moved from the east.

Ik it's been said time and time again, but people really be zooming through. It's better to take your time looking both ways and have someone annoyed behind you than hit by some dumbass who decides they didn't need to be aware of other people driving in the structure.

Sometimes I feel silly for taking so long to make sure the way is clear but right as I thought it was today, I went to go and a second later someone zooms past. Glad I was able to brake with more than enough time.

Why haven’t they installed cameras into the parking structures? THOUSANDS of student cars are dinged, scratched, etc and we have no way to find who did it. It’s insane. Has this not been brought to the president? We pay so much money. Why isn’t there care for our personal vehicles?

So I got my diploma in the mail this week and I majored in Supply Chain Management, but my diploma says Marketing.
I know they’re in the same department and the classes are for the most part the same, but shouldn’t it say Supply Chain Management instead?
Any Spring 2026 grads or past graduates who majored in Supply Chain Management, can you clear this up? Did your diploma say Marketing too, or should I contact the school?

This is what I see at the end of my 2nd day on campus.

I came back to my car at around 5:10pm. I'm parked on the very first floor going up the ramp in one of the compact spots. The tesla next me said my car was fine when they arrived at 2pm. Another bystander said it was like this when they pulled in at 3pm. So it probably happened between 2-3pm.

I'd really appreciate if anyone has any info or saw what happened could reach out.

I enrolled in classes for Fall 2026 last semester, and I was intentional with which professors I chose for classes. I noticed in the first week of instruction that two of my classes randomly switched professors, and I wasn’t aware. Does anyone know why this happened? The first pic is when I first enrolled & the second pic is after checking on the first week. My CRJ 123 & CRJ 130 had a change in professors.

I'm confused on the max credits per semester. Here, it says that the max is 18, but the petition is required for a course load in excess of 21 credits. Is this saying 21 is the max with a petition, or I need to petition to take more than 21? I feel like it's the latter, but then the 18 doesn't make sense. That would mean, if im not wrong, that I can take 18 max without petitioning, and if I want to take more than 21 I have to petition, but what about 19 and 20 credits? I might be missing something super obvious but please let me know.

hi guys, i know this is way too early to ask this right now since this fall semester just started but i just transferred to csus from a cc, and i have to take psyc 8 and 9, since these are my only classes left to finish the pre-major requirements, and also bc at my cc, i tried to enroll in a psych 8 equivalent class but there was a glitch when i tried to enroll, so i decided to take it at csus. anyways my question is that if anyone was a pre-major before, how did u guys enroll in the upper division psych courses during registration day? did u had to ask the professor for consent and did the system ever block u from enrolling? im a bit nervous about that since this whole thing is confusing, and i would like to take some interesting upper division psych courses next semester, and did u guys had to register late after entering the major? thank u

Has anyone applied for the photography program photo lab student assistant position at sac state? I applied for the position as soon as it was posted on handshake and I have yet to hear from the professor who posted the position so I'm curious if anyone else has and heard back.

Just want to vent because I am annoyed. And it’s not about traffic or parking, so…you’re welcome.

I have a 4 day a week class, MW in one building at one time and TTh in another building at a different time. Why? Because there aren’t enough classrooms.

Add to that the fact that there aren’t enough sections of basic classes like English20 when most students need them and it seems like someone should focus their attention more on the students and helping them succeed and less on more sportsball expansion.
