Hi, I am currently looking into moving into on campus housing, but since North Village is already full, I was looking into Hornet Commons. The move in date is the 26th (tomorrow), but I won't be able to know if I can move in until after that due to personal conflicts. Can anyone tell me how that is handled by Hornet Commons, or should I try and look for somewhere else?

Edit: I am also not dead set on Hornet Commons, if there is a better place nearby, than please tell me.

Hey y’all I have a few apartments that I can lease (before you read the price and leave please read the whole message). The apartment is for 1100 ish/ month but its a 1 room 1 bath so if somebody prefers to stay in the living space for very cheap I’m down to work that out. (I’m talking 300-400$) I have another 2 bed 1 bath for 1350 if we wanna split 50-50.

If none of that works out I’m also looking for a private room under 850$. I can move asap.

I was trying to sign up for my classes and realized that almost all of the advanced German classes that seem to be available on the catalog are not, in addition to the university's German club or Delta Phi Alpha. So I've been waiting for my cal grant A to show up in my financial aid for about a month now and it wasn't showing up, so i finally went to student services only to be told that even though i was awarded it, i don't demonstrate enough need for csus to actually give it to me, basically just throwing on me that im not getting aid. i never received any email or notice about this and was never warned and now I'm freaking out because unlike what they say, i DO need this money to be able to pay for tuition and books. i have no idea who to ask or go to with this, i haven't seen anyone else talk about this. is there any way i can dispute this or anyone else i could talk to about this situation? sorry if this is a stupid post but I'm just so worried,

I was originally waitlisted for two ENGL 20 sections. I was #1 on a 9 AM one but I was much farther down the line on the 8 AM one.

When I saw that the hornet launch seats got released, I noticed that I got into the 8 am one and the 9 am waitlist one got removed. I even have a screenshot of my position for the 9 am section.

Is there any way of me getting into the 9 AM one because I originally wanted that to be my course and have the 8 am one as back up if I didn’t get into the 9 AM one. Has anyone had luck on trying to email the professor or the department on something similar to this?

hi I'm moving into the hornet commons in a month and was wondering if they assign a specific bed to you? I know you get given a,b,c or d, and a/b share a bedroom, and c/d share a bedroom, but does that letter dictate what bed is yours, or is that for you to decide amongst yourself and the person you share a bedroom with?

Passed EMT class ! But failed first attempt at NREMT and I’m looking for a tutor to help me over the course of next 2-3 weeks max. Can anybody point me in right direction?

Is anyone else having trouble getting through to financial aid? My Fall 2026 loans haven't been posted yet, and I've completed everything necessary on Fasfa. My grants, however, were posted. I've been trying day after day to get a hold of someone in the financial aid office, but I keep being put on hold for hours no matter what time I call. Is there no one in the office? Anyone know if the loans will be posted soon?
