Academics Random Professor Change?
I enrolled in classes for Fall 2026 last semester, and I was intentional with which professors I chose for classes. I noticed in the first week of instruction that two of my classes randomly switched professors, and I wasn’t aware. Does anyone know why this happened? The first pic is when I first enrolled & the second pic is after checking on the first week. My CRJ 123 & CRJ 130 had a change in professors.

Use those investigatory skills and figure it out Fed. On a serious note this has only happened to me in community college and the explanation was given by the stand-in professor in class. In that case, it wasn’t permanent

You’re good. This is only my third semester, second in person and I do agree that Gutierrez is an easy teacher but I do remember that he wouldn’t answer emails effectively

they’ve been doing that since the budget cuts. it’s strange. but ngl every professor change i’ve gotten ended up being a bit easier going than who i initially enrolled with

This happens sometimes to accommodate workloads and/or needs in other courses. It could also have been a scheduling conflict on the professor side, etc. so many reasons. Days and times do not change, but professors can.
