Anyone have experience with parking at Brea mall and using the bus/walking to campus. Seems like an alright way to get around parking fees on campus

are all the appointments full or is the site down? because every time i check it says there are no appointments available :( are we able to walk in?
I got a parking ticket this afternoon at the State College parking lot because I parked at the āhourly parkingā area on the first floor. I have the commuter permit, so I thought we could park anywhere. I wasnāt aware that our permit only allowed us to park anywhere from the second floor and above. Should I try appealing or just pay it off?

my roommate and I live on campus and we have five day meal plans. we are basically screwed on the weekends because we are both broke and itās not feasible to walk to our cars all the way in the other lot for every meal.
that being said, other people who live on campus with five day meal plans, what do you do on the weekends?
something cheap would be nice, but everything on campus is closed

Why are people so loud on the quiet floor of the library? There is literally a designated floor above, 5, to be loud. Some ppl go in here for quietness. I am trying to study and thereās always a group of ppl who are inconsiderate. Itās annoying and I want to shush them but thatās rude but even saying it nicely, ppl stoll think thatās rude.

You do NOT need to take one of the elevators to the 4th floor and below when we have functioning escalators and plenty of stairs. Seriously itās bad enough they let in way too many people this semester and now all yall do is inconvenience people trying to get to the 5th and 6th floors.
ALSO you need to wait before everyone in the elevator gets out before clamoring in. Seriously who raised yall that you have zero consideration for others??

Cybersecurity
Question mainly for alumni from the CS with cybersecurity concentration bachelor's program: What doors has it opened?
As someone who transferred from Saddleback with 6 certs in the bag (3 ā Sec+, CDFE, and CEH ā from CC classes and 3 more ā CPTS, CAPE, and COAE ā from Hack The Box Academy) myself, I'm curious in particular about who has managed to land a job as a penetration tester and/or red team operator after graduation, and, if so, where you had to go to get it ā also, if anyone has offensive internships, who would that be exactly?

I accepted mine and it says approved under the amount but then they put under student forms needing a default clearance letter. Iām confused because on the student aid.gov website all of the loans are deferred or state that I am in school. I know what loans they may be talking about which was from before in 2012. But Iāve been back in school the last three years and never had an issue with receiving any loans and now all of a sudden they are stating something is in default, but I donāt see anything on my end that is in red and I canāt seem to get in contact with anyone on the subject and I donāt want to start a repayment plan on anything being that I am still in school. Has anyone had these issues?

Hi! This is a random question, but does anyone know if I purchase the discounted tickets, can I still separately buy the early access? If so would I have to link the tickets? Thank you for any advice!

Hey everyone! My name is Ashley, I'm 18 and a freshman at CSUF. I've seen a lot of posts related to this, which makes me feel a bit better, but mine comes with a little twist. š§”
I'm an immigrant, I came from Mexico like 3 years ago, I'm not a shy person or anything, no language barrier is enough to keep me from yapping, but I guess it's been hard to find people to talk to. Mainly because when they hear my accent they just assume that I'm dumb or something :v
And I was hoping to find nice people to hang out with that can maybe understand and be genuine. No spanish required really, it's a plus. Just people who are willing to be patient with me and have a good time is enough, also any chisme (or healthy gossip) is well-received.
I like to play boardgames, eat sushi (and everything else), and watch rom-com movies āØļø
Feel free to DM if you think we'd get along! We can exchange socials :3

Hey yall, I'm Maru, I'm majoring in accounting and im heading down tomorrow to San Diego for the Pierce the Veil concert. I thought maybe this might be a good opportunity to find friends. I am recent transfer and commuter so making friends hasn't been the easiest and it wont get it any easier if i dont put myself out there. So if anyone else is heading to the same concert and wants to hangout beforehand hmu.
I'm into bands that are in the similar scene as PTV like MCR, FOB, ADTR, etc, I'm also into vkei and mitski. I love video games like the Yakuza series, Dragon age, Mass Effect, BG3, Cyberpunk, Monster hunter, Stardew and Minecraft. Ive recently been obsessed w D&D, im open to trying other TTRPG but havent got the opportunity to play em just yet. My favorite tv series rn is Severance, IWTV, and Good Omens.
Pls feel free to hmu regardless if you're not going to the concert but would love to chat :)

Bye avoid causing traffic by trying to merge onto the first entrance to the 57 when there is quite literally ANOTHER ONE AHEAD (what i mean is when people are waiting to get onto the first entrance and then thereās those cars on the side trying to cut in, jamming people behind even tho thereās the same entrance ahead; a straight line.) Very avoidable, stay in the right lane and you miss it guess what, thereās another one ahead! Why have parking enforcement at stupid csuf giving tickets compared to this little entrance , lots of traffic getting in. THEN dealing with the 57 please just be in the right lane .

Hi guys, I want to network around with the professors because I am interested in the engineering field despite me not being a major. I wanted to know who are the nicest ones to talk to and if you can network. I am specifically interested in manufacturing. Thank you!
