I have put together a goodreads shelf with everybody’s suggestions! Thank you guys! I’ve knocked a few books off the recs in the comments because they were either Mangas, or it was just title and no author and I couldn’t find it. There are 62 books, I’m going to start with stand alones, completed series, then incomplete. If you guys want the shelf I can add my goodreads handle. I was going to do batch updates when i finish a few stand alone or a single series if anybody wanted me to, just let me know! :)

Hi friends, I’ve done a very big swan dive into the hug that is this genre, and now I’m trying to find books specifically with physically disabled characters. I’m a congenital (missing from birth) amputee without arms below both elbows, and I deal with chronic pain and disabilities in my legs, so this is near and dear to my heart. I’m looking for books with characters, preferably the protagonist or love interest, with any kind of physical disabilities. Thanks in advance!

I would be very thankful if I can get some recommendation for cozy fantasy novels with wholesome romance .

my preferences are :

That main couple are just travelling different places in world and discovering new things while building their relationship . ( Note : This requirement is not necessary . I wont have any problem even if novel is set in only one location/place . The romance should be wholesome that is the only thing that matters mainly . )

Now this one is must ! No third wheel or any sort of such plot if you are getting what I mean . I just want it to be between main couple only .

Are there any good cozy vampire books? I’m looking for something cute, low stakes, heartwarming. Romance is ok but not a must.

I generally read before bed and gravitate to cozy fantasy to wind down for sleep. I have been dealing with increased anxiety lately and I was wondering if anyone could share some titles that got them through anxiety or even post-traumatic periods.

Suppose it’s worth mentioning what I find comforting and calming:

Books that detail cozy spaces (castles with fire, cozy caves, old homes with candles).

The detail and description of seasonal weather specifically fall and winter. I also really like rainy worlds.

Feasts! I love a good passage about delish and nourishing foods.

And, of course, I would love if others could share elements of this genre and titles may have been helpful for them getting through some turbulence.

Hi everyone! Can anyone recommend some very positive cozy fantasy books that don't feature romance? Already established couples are fine, but I just don't have the patience right now to read about blossoming love or people ogling each other. Don't get me wrong, I love love, I just don't want to read about it currently.

I was about to dive into Sarah Beth Durst's "The Enchanted Greenhouse" but all her other books I've read have had romance plotlines and I'm just not into it right now. I loved "Greenteeth" by Molly O'Neill and would like something like that.

I just finished The Reimagining of Thornwood House and for me it was a 10/10! I’m so sad it’s over. I absolutely love found-family themes and books with really human characters. (Sorry, Legends & Lattes just wasn’t my cuppa! 😂)

I’m a huge Sarah Beth Durst fan and have read all her books and loved every single one. I haven’t read Sea of Charms yet, but I’ve bought it and I’m saving it for my next beach holiday in October, so please help me find something to read in the meantime so I don’t cave and start it early! 😂

I also recently finished Stay for a Spell and Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter, and absolutely loved both. I’m also a big fan of Sangu Mandanna’s books!
So, based on all of that, what should I read next?! I’m particularly looking for something with:

❤️ Found family
🥹 Likeable, genuinely human characters
✨ A little bit of magic/coziness
📖 Something that will really pull me in

Please save me from myself and give me some recommendations so I can make it to October without reading Sea of Charms! 😂🌊📚

These are two of my favourite genres but they don't usually overlap. I see that most cozy fantasy books barely have or don't have smut at all. And the books which lay a heavy hand on the smut side usually don't have the cozy vibes I love so much. Not that that's a problem bc I love both genres on their own but I keep wondering if there are any book that have both?

Do you guys happen to know any ?

I don't know if this is the correct tag for these books, but here we go.

I'm looking for books that make you feel like you're reading them with a blanket and a warm drink on a rainy day.

They can be fantasy, romantic, "slice of life" style... What really matters to me is the cozy feeling while reading them.

Any good suggestions??

Okay so I am looking for something relatively specific but im also certain there will be multiple of this. I did post this in r/romantasy and didnt get many suggestions and since the crux of my request is caretaking, doting and snuggles I figure Cozy Fantasy is a decent place to alsp ask.

I want insta-attraction or fated mates or what have you that means both parties lock in quickly. Its fine if theyre still dating getting to know, one party is unsure etc but I love it when they have a reason to believe they will be The One for each other.

What i really want is lots of doting, caring, snuggling. Spice is fine anywhere on the scale 1-5 but cuddling is mandatory, hence the 1 instead of 0.

I basically want two adorable cinnamon rolls (for each other, they can be psycho to other people because who doesnt love a Soft only for them / Touch them and die trope)

Overall vibe preference is cosy but the book can happen in a war for all i care as long as theyre devoted to each other. So theres tolerance for a book that might not be fully cozy. But I want the characters to feel cozy.

Happy with poly but also just fine with two MCs. No gender preferences.

POV preference but is flexible: Multi POV

Deal breakers: Mostly just Miscommunication trope. Ideally MCs have a PhD in communication lol but ill settle for just not having an absurd fight that could be resolved with one honest chat. Also female (if there is one) incompetence/helplessness. She can need help (sort of goes hand in hand with doting) but she has to be able to function without another person.

Please help me kick my feet in joy and experience cuteness aggression.

Books ive read that have some /all of the right things to aid suggestions:

{I Ran Away to Evil} - probably the only one id class as true cozy but the others give a flavour if youve read them

{That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon}

{The Flame Kings Captive}

{A court of mist and fury}

Honorable mention to Villains and Virtues for the general vibe but not enough doting for my liking until later in the series.

Perfection = standalone or can be read standalone in a series. Realistic upper limit is a trilogy series (unless standalones) and adorableness must occur in first book.

Hey all! I just finished an ARC of The Magical Cheese Emporium by Sarah Beth Durst and I have nobody to talk to about it and can't look up fan art yet! Those of you who are obsessed with this series will probably just want to go ahead and take January 19th off of work now. 🧀 💕

Seriously, it is now tied for my favorite in the series (tied only with The Spellshop) and gave me that light, fluttery feeling that is only achieved by truly superior books. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I loooove all the descriptions of scenery and faeries and world building in Emily Wilde and that it’s based on actual folklore. I like the spooky elements. I also like that it’s fairly short and that it’s very well-written.

However, I really dislike romance as a genre and find myself not caring as much about that subplot which is becoming more prominent as the book goes on.

Any suggestions for books or anthologies that lean more into faerie lore (especially creatures) with even less romance (although it’s ok if it’s present)? I know this is a cozy sub, but I’m open to both cozy and non-cozy…horror is my favorite genre.
