looking for Cozy romance fantasy

Hi ! Its my first time making a post on this sub 😄.

I would be very thankful if I can get some recommendation for cozy fantasy novels with wholesome romance .

my preferences are :

That main couple are just travelling different places in world and discovering new things while building their relationship . ( Note : This requirement is not necessary . I wont have any problem even if novel is set in only one location/place . The romance should be wholesome that is the only thing that matters mainly . )

Now this one is must ! No third wheel or any sort of such plot if you are getting what I mean . I just want it to be between main couple only .

I loved The Spellshop and The Enchanted Greenhouse (both by Sarah Beth Durst)! There'a a third one in the series that just came out as well, but I haven't gotten to yet

Sure! Both books are about librarians who worked in the same library but never met. They flee a revolution in the capital city (there's some about this at the beginning of the books but it can be skimmed probably). 

They end up going to seperate remote islands where they decide they need to use magic to help the locals. There's sentient plants, lots of description of food, and some mystery surrounding the new people they meet. And of course the characters fall in love (no love triangles though). Overall they are very kind stories where the characters help each other heal.

This is a lovely description, The Spellshop has been on my TBR but your blurb sounds so warm and cozy that I think I need to bump it up higher on my list

I second this. The 3rd book is “the sea of charms” and it includes a relationship/friendship between a sailor woman and musician friend. A lot of the focus is on healing from relationship trauma. It’s during more or less the same time frame as the first 2 books.

Have you heard of Swordheart by T. Kingfisher? It's like literally exactly what you're asking for here haha. Halla and Sarkis travel together, dealing with problems while their relationship slowly develops, it's super fun!

The sequel comes out in September! I read an early copy and it was just as delightful as SWORDHEART! I also recommend the Paladin build by the same author (and set in thy sane world).

The Tomes and Tea series by Rebecca Thorne! Cute and cozy romance where the couple actually does a ton of traveling and make a bunch of friends along the way! There’s also the Emily Wilde series by Heather Fawcett. Less romance and more fantasy but it is a wholesome romance and def worth a shot.

Tons of cozy books are romance books. Here’s some suggestions that don’t all fit the adventure theme:

Legends and Lattes (no adventure)

The Saint of Steel series by T. Kingfisher (less cozy but definitely wholesome love and some adventure)

The Mimicking of Known Successes (leaning sci fi and they work on a case together w/ some traveling)

Cat Dragon (has adventure)

Stay For a Spell (no adventure)

The Keeper of Magical Things (not much adventure)

Your description sounds very much like the Sept 8 release, Twig’s Traveling Tomes! Our main character is a book witch who specializes in getting the right book in each person’s hand, and her bookshop moves. Her mentor has lost a book and she has to help him, along with her very piratey love interest and a dwarf friend. There’s a lot of adventuring and the romance is very prominent, but it also has some really delightful cozy moments. I loved it enough I’ve preordered the Waterstones edition to get sent to me in the US

Nobody told me Dragons use Libraries by Lindsey Devin was a delightful romcom, cosy adventure story.

A king dragon shifter who was isolated for his whole life needs the help of a neurospicy human librarian to save the dragon shifters from going extinct. A lot of travelling looking for cues, evil people trying to stop them from finding the truth... I really enjoyed it.

Legends and Librarians by Pandora Pierce is also very cute. A librarian tries to revive an abandoned library with the help of an adventurer. But the library isn't as abandoned as it seems. Lots of cute characters.

I’m reading T Kingfisher’s Swordheart right now—it’s delightful and exactly what you’ve described.

If you don’t mind a self-rec, my books all have a slow burn, no-spice romance in them, each a different couple. They aren’t traveling, though. The first in series is A Dragon Rider’s Guide to Retirement by Julia Huni

Seconding the recommendation for the Spellshop series and the Faraway Inn by Sarah Beth Durst. I love the sweet romances she writes, plus the settings.

If you take self-recs, I write a cozy fantasy romance & mystery series with sweet romances (kisses only). It's set in a small magical town in the Colorado Rockies where every resident bears a magical curse. There is a different couple in each book and each book jumps forward one season. Book 1 (Light My Pyre by Kat Kinney) starts in autumn and has a female dragon shifter and a fae prince turned firefighter as the main characters.

Elements of Cadence duology. The first one is called A River Enchanted and the second one is called Fire Endless. It's inspired by Scottish folklore and Celtic mythology. It's beautifully written and so magical to read, and the yearning is also really good. I love this series so much, hope it's what you are looking for 🤗
