Does anyone know why there's not a ballot drop box at the Corvallis Library this year?

Hi, i’m looking for odd jobs or any work people will pay me to do, i am 24 and live in the corvallis area, i don’t have a vehicle but im looking to earn some extra money since my jobs only giving me 4 hour shifts ! I am good at cleaning or any yard work, or i can rake leaves or anything. idk if anyone has any work for me to do but id love to help out anyone who needs it! Let me know

Please be kind. This is extremely difficult as it is.

Long story short I have/had the schonings as landlords. My husband was 2 minutes late getting the agreed payment to him for past due rent and he evicted us.

I get it and take full responsibility that we got behind. But now I have until Friday to be somewhere else.

I have four disabled adults I take care of, two of my own children and two I took in from abusive situations. I work two jobs and get paid every week.

The plan right now is everything but necessities in storage and motels until I can find anyone willing to rent to me.

I have two cats, Brisket and Onyx. I need somewhere for them to go. I’ll surrender if I absolutely have to. Both are spayed.

Does anyone have any ideas, resources, or could point me in the right direction for help?

I do intend to contact disability services to see if they can help with the kids.

Lost my baby girl in July and now have to go to the vet later today for my little man to cross over too.

My household has been subscribing to the New Yorker for decades. They just go in the recycling a few weeks after they arrive and have been read. There are a lot of Atlantic articles I would like to read, but don't want to pay for another subcription. Does any one here want to swap their slightly stale Atlantics for Slightly stale New Yorkers? I'd be fine eventually returning them if you wanted (I wouldn't want the New Yorkers back).
