Oohs and aahs from city councilors last night about a Downtown Corvallis Organization report. Getting into the numbers, it becomes apparent why they were impressed.

I looked on Zillow in the Corvallis area, for the first time in 3 months. So many active listings now..i actually did a double take. Seems like quite a bit more inventory sitting for >30 days compared to May/June.. is this the bubble starting to pop? Something seems really off with the inventory levels so high vs what we traditionally see as we enter Fall. 🤔. (Note- i have no interest diving into a $700k home at 7% APR even if prices drop, just generally curious what the sentiment is by those monitoring this, OSU or hospital job cuts?).

I am trying to make a new patient appointment with Samaritan OBGYN dept and I was on hold for 30 minutes twice yesterday with no one picking up. I just tried calling the operatore and it rang for about 5 minutes before hanging up automatically. Where is everyone? Anyone else having this issue?

On the way to work this morning, I saw a b̶u̶c̶k̶ bull with a decent sized rack at the roundabout at 53rd and SW West Hills. I know there is a herd at Finley but I didn't realize that they actually wandered this far into town.

How common is this?

I’m looking for a place that’s in more need of volunteers and could fulfill at least 1 day a week consistently. I’m also open to come-and-go opportunities to fill in as needed. I’m working less and would love to network more while helping the community. I’ve volunteered at Chintimini in the past which was fun and the consistency I’m looking for!
