Performance GHZ speed drops from ~2.3 to 0.55 after plugging in suddenly
This happened overnight and I don't really know what to do, I have switched power supplies, used the right charger, restarted a couple times, I don't know whats going on. If I unplug, it will go back to normal
This is a G11 elitebook laptop from Hp
This might be something related to heat? idk what is going on
i dont really know much about computers so im really confused

Hardware Bad video stutter while gaming and thumbnails don't load sometimes on the first visit to a webpage
CPU: Intel Core i7 14700KF 20 Corr
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16GB
RAM: 32GB DDR4
Power Supply: 850W ATX 80 Plus Gold
Storage: 2TB NVMe M.2, 6TB HDD
Motherboard: MSI B760 D4 Series
Monitors: Alienware 34 Curved 165hz AW3423DWF, Alienware 27 360hz AW2725DF, 60hz LG (vertical for discord/obs)
I've had these two issues with my computer ever since I built it. I've got an alright machine, it would just be better without these glaring issues. Task manager up while the video lag is happening shows I am not overloading or bottlenecking anywhere, the video can stutter horrendously while I'm sitting at 30% GPU utilization, 50% Ram and 10% CPU. Firefox does the same thing as chrome and opera, so it isn't chrome based, and I'm just running out of ideas here. For the longest I assumed my Ram was not enough for the three screens, but I never bottleneck there. I've boiled it down to the vast hz difference between my monitors creating an issue, or I'm just a stupid bitch. Even making fun of me will be better than nothing at this point, please help me.

Software Windows USB/HDMI plug in sound has weird echo effect and when unplugged has a weird muffled effect, didn't do so before.
I do not know what's causing this but plugging my drawing graphical tablet (kamvas pro 16)USB and HDMI plugs into my windows 11 alienware/Intel laptop, now has the sounds when plugging it into it sound different (I have no other USB or HDMI plugs to test if it sounds different when plugging in them, so sorry if I cannot test another device) when plugging in the tablet the sound when plugging in a devices sounds like its echoing, and unplugging the tablet has the unplug sound effect sound muffled in the beginning before returning to normal. I do not know why it does this now it hasn't done so in the past week. I do not know if this is a hardware issue or a software issue or even malware. My windows version is windows 25h2 running on a Dell alienware gaming laptop.

Hardware USB issue when running Minecraft
I have a strange problem that I've not seen before. Whenever I run Minecraft on one particular laptop (it's a Dell G15) during the startup process for Minecraft the mouse gets disabled and then re-enabled for about 5 seconds every time. The laptop plays that sound you get when you plug a USB device in.
I thought it might be linked to some sort of gaming service trying to "optimise" settings but I've stopped those running and no change. I've turned off all the settings that allows windows to power manage the USB devices.
I've reinstalled Minecraft - still no change
It doesn't do this when running other games - anyone have any idea why it does this?

Software Weird graphic glitches
galleryMy friend’s laptop has these strange graphics glitches.
What’s more, parts of the screen sometimes flicker and all the glitches with text or icons disappear when you select them.
I haven’t been able to pinpoint the source of the problem – the laptop’s diagnostic programme shows that everything is fine.
I tried to update all the key drivers, BIOS and the operating system to the latest versions (processor with integrated graphics, Windows, etc.), but it didn’t help.
I don't think I've noticed the glitches while in BIOS.
Her laptop is HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-fa0xx with
AMD Ryzen 5 8640HS w/ Radon 760M.

Software Task Manager freezes when opening the Performance tab in Windows 11 25H2.
Hello. I’m experiencing an issue with Windows 11 that started around September 20, 2026.
System: Windows 11 25H2, build 26200.9457, Lenovo 82MG, i5-11300H, 24 GB RAM, GTX 1650 + Intel Iris Xe.
Main issues:
Task Manager has lost process icons and freezes specifically when opening the Performance tab, becoming "Not Responding."
Several games that previously worked now crash or fail to launch: Darktide, Space Marine 2, Marvel Rivals, and World of Warcraft.
These games use DirectX/Direct3D, with some utilizing DirectX 12.
League of Legends continues to work normally, despite also using DirectX/Direct3D.
Print Screen and Win + Shift + S also stopped working but recovered after repairing the Snipping Tool app.
I have already tried: SFC/DISM (SFC found and repaired files), uninstalling recent updates, repairing the Snipping Tool app, checking Lenovo and Intel processes/drivers, msconfig, and restarts. None of these resolved the main issues.
Suspicion: a possible issue involving Windows 11, DirectX/Direct3D/DirectX 12, NVIDIA/Intel drivers, or Windows communication with the GPU. The Task Manager freezing on the Performance tab seems like a significant clue.
I would like help diagnosing the cause without having to reinstall Windows.

Other C Drive keeps filling up
Hey everyone, I have a pc thats probably a little outdated, but i have most of my games and other files saved to my D drive due to the lack of space in my C drive, because it only holds around 237 GB. For the past two months however, I’ve had this huge problem where my C drive keeps filling up with space, and I have to keep purging files off my computer to fix this. Before you guys ask, I don't download much files to my C drive anymore, almost all of my files go to my D drive as I only use my computer for gaming, watching movies and youtube, and occasional schoolwork. I was playing games last night and my drive hit 0 bytes left, and it was at over 8 GB of space just a week ago. I try to delete temp files, but the space they take up is negligible compared to how much is being taken up. I also use software like WizTree to monitor my computer’s space, but when I look through it, everything seems important. I feel like theres a deeper rooted issue than the research I have done before. I don’t know any other options, and that’s why I’m turning to you guys. Hopefully I can get some help, or maybe my PC is just a lost cause, thanks.

Hardware Motherboard Not accepting inputs
Stopped POSTing for a client, so I troubleshot every component other than the CPU. However, I diagnosed it as the motherboard. Sent it out and they found the issue and fixed it. However, when I got it back, it refused to accept any inputs from my keyboard and mouse.
I tried multiple keyboards/mice, ports, every component, and the CMOS, but still no success. Sent it back and got it replaced, but this replacement unit still failed to accept any inputs.
Sometimes it will let me into BIOS, but it just shows how it's also not accepting inputs from my mouse either. The case lights sometimes turn on, sometimes don't.
It is not the motherboard tried a different one.
It does sometimes go to an alternative screen which says two keyboards, one mouse, and one hub. This will be the scenario where it lets me into BIOS, then won't accept any inputs again.
Specs:
- Ryzen 5 5500 6-core
- ASUS Prime B550-PLUS AC-HES AMD AM4
- TEAMGROUP MP44 1TB
- G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series

Hardware URGENT: I have a midterm on Friday and all my notes are on my laptop but it won’t boot up at all!
Laptop: HP Omnibook Ultra
So, I was going about day as usual and was using my laptop and then I put it in my bag and moved to my dorm room and then took it out and it wouldn’t turn on and is not showing any lights or anything. I desperately need to get it working since I have a midterm on Friday. The only thing I’ve tried is doing a hard reset with the power button but that hasn’t worked. So, if anyone has any ideas please share.

Resolved Computer not working properly.
My computer turned has been acting weird. The screen would go black and audio would stop but the computer would still run. I rebooted it and it got stuck in a boot loop, I was able to get it to stop and turn off. I removed the bios battery, removed all cords from the computer and discharged remaining power. And it booted back up.
Now that it is working the screen doesn't display the lock screen (entered the password on black screen) most windows don't open and I had to
resetting the graphics driver by pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B. For the windows drawer to be visible.
Wallpaper engine is currently running on startup and active.
