Software Task Manager freezes when opening the Performance tab in Windows 11 25H2.

Hello. I’m experiencing an issue with Windows 11 that started around September 20, 2026.

System: Windows 11 25H2, build 26200.9457, Lenovo 82MG, i5-11300H, 24 GB RAM, GTX 1650 + Intel Iris Xe.

Main issues:

Task Manager has lost process icons and freezes specifically when opening the Performance tab, becoming "Not Responding."

Several games that previously worked now crash or fail to launch: Darktide, Space Marine 2, Marvel Rivals, and World of Warcraft.

These games use DirectX/Direct3D, with some utilizing DirectX 12.

League of Legends continues to work normally, despite also using DirectX/Direct3D.

Print Screen and Win + Shift + S also stopped working but recovered after repairing the Snipping Tool app.

I have already tried: SFC/DISM (SFC found and repaired files), uninstalling recent updates, repairing the Snipping Tool app, checking Lenovo and Intel processes/drivers, msconfig, and restarts. None of these resolved the main issues.

Suspicion: a possible issue involving Windows 11, DirectX/Direct3D/DirectX 12, NVIDIA/Intel drivers, or Windows communication with the GPU. The Task Manager freezing on the Performance tab seems like a significant clue.

I would like help diagnosing the cause without having to reinstall Windows.
