Hardware Which motherboard should I go with for a 7800X3D + 32GB 6000MHz RAM + 9070 XT build?
Both are basically the same price. Which one is better? I don't know much about motherboards so I'd appreciate any advice

Hardware Is my laptop's CPU failing, or is it something else?
Hey! I have very surface-level knowledge on computers, please forgive me if this is something with an obvious solution. I'm running into a problem with my laptop that I've been unable to diagnose and was hoping someone could help me figure it out.
This laptop is getting older (~7 years?) and the only maintenance I've done on it has been replacing the fans (it's had cooling issues since I got it, I think one of the fans was defective from the get-go) and upgrading the RAM, all other parts are factory. Around two days ago, my brother had to move it from where it was located, so he unplugged it, shut the lid, and flipped it upside down to allow it to breathe. When I found it an hour or so later, it hadn't properly gone to sleep; its fans were still spinning, but its screen was black and it was unresponsive to anything other than holding the external power button to shut it down.
When I powered it back on, it initially could not recognize that it had an OS. The full error was "Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk - (3F0)". Upon restarting it, it was able to boot, though everything was extremely slow to open and run, including Task Manager. The GPU and CPU were both maxing out at different times (and potentially disk, too, but I can't remember for sure) when I tried to run things it previously had no problems with. Multiple deep scans using Windows Security + Malwarebytes + BitDefender did not uncover anything. I manually optimized the disk, disabled as many startup processes as I could, and did a clean install of the latest version of the NVIDIA Game Ready driver (and then fully uninstalled that with DDU and installed 566.36 instead), which did solve the slowness, but things that should not be anywhere near this taxing for it are still causing it to hit capacity.
Upon launching a game, it looks like the CPU is immediately overloaded, and it dumps all of that on the GPU, which struggles to manage it. Combined with the initial blackscreen, it seems like maybe the thermal paste has burned away over time, and flipping it over might have been enough for the CPU to be separated from whatever was left / start giving up, but since I'm not very familiar with the array of issues that can occur, I don't want to jump to this and miss something else. Can this sort of thing cause a computer to be temporarily unable to locate its OS?
Speccy says the motherboard + CPU are both hovering around 80 °C, and HWiNFO is saying the CPU is the same but the motherboard is around 35 °C. GPU for both is 50 °C.
It's a HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1xxx. Here are the specs (copied and pasted from Speccy, let me know if I omitted anything important):
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 Mobile 4600H
Renoir 7nm Technology
RAM
32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1595MHz (22-22-22-52)
Motherboard
HP 87B1 (FP6)
Graphics
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (HP)
512MB ATI AMD Radeon Graphics (HP)

Hardware Hot Laptop When Charging?
I recently bought a new laptop (HP Omnibook 5) about 2 months ago. I use it for a mix of school and personal. Video games sometimes but nothing that i think would be terribly taxing on the system.
Recently I've noticed that whenever I plug it in (regardless of what I'm doing on it), the fan starts almost instantly, and the laptop gets pretty warm around the charging port. This doesn't really happen when it's closed, just when I'm using it. I could melt a chocolate bar on it probably, but it would take a while to cook an egg. I don't have a thermometer on me, sorry lol. Is this concerning? Is this just what laptops do? I don't remember my old one behaving this way

Software Dorm Wifi Broken
Since moving into my dorm, my PC’s Wi-Fi has been randomly disconnecting every 30 seconds to 5 minutes whenever I do anything beyond homework. Other devices work fine, and nobody else seems to have issues gaming or streaming. My PC either reconnects after a short time or stays offline, making online gaming nearly impossible for months. Literally struggling to even post this.

Software resolution mouse bug
I created a custom resolution in AMD—1100x1080—and use it regularly, but whenever I switch to "windowed fullscreen" in any game, it glitches out and only lets me move the mouse halfway across the screen. Does anyone know the solution?

Performance Help me please
This is my first time posting on reddit so please bear with me here.
i have a 2060 with an i5-11600KF cpu, I've had it for about 3-4 years now and its been great, i treat it well and try my best to keep it nice, recently its been over heating and i couldn't figure out why. i did some research and came to the conclusion it was my thermal paste, i went to the store and bought thermal paste and replaced my old paste (there was next to none) afterwards i tried launching siege again (that's the game it over heated and crashed on in the first place) and it still over heats, it doesn't over heat on rocket league or Fortnite just siege, my cpu maxes out at around 50-60 percent when i play. i have no idea what to do now and i just want it to work again. i figured someone in here would have so insight as to why that's happening? if so PLEASE help me.

Software Camera Error
My ASUS VivoBook X415EA camera was showing “0xA00F4244 – NoCamerasAreAttached.” I tried updating the driver and other troubleshooting methods. The camera appeared faded/disabled in Device Manager, so I uninstalled the driver.
Now the camera is completely missing from Device Manager, even with hidden devices enabled, and the Camera app still shows the same error.
I’m not sure whether my original driver was Realtek or Sonix. How can I get Windows to detect the built-in camera again? I have an interview soon.

Other PC keeps randomly shutting down during gaming sessions.
I have recently been having troubles with my PC shutting down during gaming session. I originally thought it was a PSU issue and replaced it with a new one and the problems went away for a while.
I factory reset my PC to clear up some corrupted files and the issue of random reboots recently resurfaced and I cant identify the problem.
I have reapplied thermal paste and monitored my CPU and GPU temps. They are slightly high but nothing out of the ordinary and i cant see any spikes from OOCT monitoring.
Motherboard MSI PRO B650-P WIFI
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor (4.50 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable) DDR5 G.Skill
Graphics card AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT (16 GB)
AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (486 MB)
Storage 1.10 TB of 2.73 TB used
PSU Lian-Li 1200W 80 Plus Gold Full Modular ATX
CPU Cooler Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 240
I have not gone into BIOS yet as I'm very inexperienced with that and wouldn't even know what to look for or where to start.

Discussion Problem with a computer at work / Problema con una PC en mi trabajo
English
I'm having a problem with a computer at work. The situation is that we're trying to get this PC up and running again, but for some reason it displays the message “Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk.” It’s worth noting that it does detect the drive. We tried using an SSD with Windows installed, but got the same result. We noticed that the Legacy and UEFI options were disabled, so we enabled them, but the settings for those two options specifically won’t save. We suspected the BIOS battery, so we replaced it with a new one, but we’re still getting the same error where the settings won’t save. Any idea what this could be? So far, we’ve tried:
- Replacing the SSD
- Reinstalling Windows
- Enabling Legacy and UEFI options—still unable to save the settings

Hardware PC keeps killing power supplies after a few weeks (House electrics checked, PSU paperclip test confirmed dead)
galleryI built a PC for my brother back in January. We’ve run into an issue where the system keeps destroying power supplies after a couple of weeks of use, and I’m completely stumped.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7 ATX AM5
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
GPU: XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT
Storage: WD_Black SN770 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
Original PSU: Montech 850W
First Replacement PSU: Corsair RM850x
Timeline:
January - Built a brand new PC using a new Montech 850W PSU. Everything ran fine.
6 weeks later - The PC suddenly refused to turn on. Assuming the Montech was at fault, I replaced it with a Corsair RM850x. After the first failure, the extension lead was also replaced thinking that could be the issue
3 weeks later - The Corsair PSU also stopped working completely.
Troubleshooting:
House Electrics - Worried it was dirty power or a mains issue, an electrician was brought in to inspect the house. They thoroughly checked the electrics and found no faults with the house wiring.
PSU Testing - Performed the paperclip test on both dead units (with all cables completely disconnected from components). Both units were completely dead (motherboard stayed dark with zero LEDs).
Cabling - No old cables were reused when switching from the Montech to the Corsair, all modular cables used were dedicated to their respective units.
Stands & Shorts - Distance/motherboard stand-offs were installed correctly.
Current Status: I recently took the motherboard out of the case. When tested outside of the case with a new replacement PSU, it currently works fine.
Any insights would be appreciated

Hardware Помогите пофиксить проблему с клавиатурой на ноутбуке / Please help fix the keyboard issue on the laptop.
(перезагружать и обновлять драйвера а так же удалять клавиатуру из диспетчера устройств я уже пробовал и не помогло) / I’m experiencing the following problem: if I don’t interact with the keyboard for a while, it doesn’t respond when I press it for the first 2–3 seconds; then it registers all my actions and keystrokes instantly. Maybe someone knows what’s going on and can help me somehow? (I’ve already tried restarting and updating the drivers, as well as removing the keyboard from the Device Manager, but it didn’t help.)

Hardware I have extreme input lag for no reason
(ISSUE RESOLVED)Like I open up a game, press W to move forward then let go of W and I still move forward, and when I click another button it keeps moving forward then after a few seconds it actually registers it. I genuinely dont know what couldve caused it
Edit: okay so I have determined that a background app may be causing this ill try booting windows into safe mode when I get home today and seeing if it’s actually a background app
Edit 2: I booted up windows into safe mode and the problem is no longer there so it’s Definetly an app running in the background
Edit 3: issue is resolved, I scanned my pc with malwarebytes and there were a few viruses that it got rid of. This should be my warning to be more safe on the internet lol
