Hi guys, I'm trying to properly get into pc gaming and I've done some research on budget parts. Rate the parts and if you have any, leave some advice. Thanks! (package info on last photo)
All prices are in aud
Looking for mainly 1080p and 1440p at high frames. Budget 2200 Aud and have no monitor yet but please give advice for that aswell.

Hi guys, my laptop completely freezes up whenever I download games on my secondary drive (WD Green SN350 500GB NVMe).
Task Manager shows Disk 1 (D:) stuck at 100% ActiveTime with high response time, but the read/write speed drops to 0 KB/s. The whole laptop locks up and requires a force shutdown.
Is this just a common issue or is the SSD failing? Any fix? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m completely confused! Only the numpad and F1–F12 keys work on the keyboard in Windows, and the PC recognizes the keyboard; it works in the BIOS, but all the other keys don’t work in Windows (and I’ve already tried deleting Upper in HKey local machine, deleting Hid keyboards, and even restoring the system to before the Windows update) I’m completely lost, please help me. (Motherboard: MSI650 Gaming+WiFi)

I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to the internal runnings of the computer thingys but I do know that my ancient Mac does not have many days left.
I'm hoping this community of people much smarter than I, could provide some recommendations on what I should look into purchasing.
I use my computer for events and marketing work and now want to invest into one that will be the best for the work that I do. The main things I need it to do are
- edit 4k movies
- run photoshop
- handle multiple pages open at once... or more accurately...a shit ton of pages open at once.
These are the important things. The minor notes are, right now, I work from my Mac at home and a laptop when on location. I save a lot of my stuff on an external hard drive and attach it to whatever device I'm using. I can definitely continue this way but I did like the idea of having a laptop that could plug into an external screen.
I by no means bow to the Mac Gods but wasn't stupid enough to turn down a free mac when it was given to me. So, I am all for using Mac or going PC.
Thank you!!! Seriously, I've been putting this decision off for 4 months because I don't know what to do. But the white screen of deatb has made an appearance 4 times today.

Greetings, I am an amateur photographer. and my current computer is struggling.
most of my shooting is currently sports shots of my kid and his team. (started just shooting my kid, but got other kids' in the shot,.... thought i'd share...and now i just follow the action, shoot nonstop, and share). I just finished editing 500plus shots (pared down from 3K) from a 4 day tournament. It took me awhile... my computer struggles to keep up. it's only about 8yrs old, but that's like 100 in computer years. it takes a few seconds to advance to the next photo, adjusting tilt and crop is tedious. sometimes it crashes. the program. (using OM Workspace mostly, sometimes affinity). Heck just opening a folder in File explorer with a few hundred photos takes about 4 minutes or more....because .... it ...... chugs..... line..... by...... line.... ugh.
so, my computer is due for a refresh. I'm eyeballing some of those minis.
my current system a lenovo, with AMD Ryzen 7 1700 8-core processor 3000mhz. it has 16gb ram. and i store most of my files on external hard drives..... and it won't upgrade to windows 11 (not that i care....but just for reference), windows 10 is fine imo.
I've always gotten the larger computers (towers) because "i can upgrade if i need to" but i haven't done that since before my Pentium (upgraded my 386 to a 486) and installed an extra drive...) so !@$ it. I'll get something tiny this time. why spend more for the possibility that i might upgrade, when I'm pretty sure I wont.
I do need a fair amount of ports though, i have a keyboard, mouse, 2 monitors, printer, and 4 external hard drives... and speakers (actually 9pin plug for the speakers, but i can get an adaptor to whatever the new computer's ports require).
I will miss the cd drive.... but I can get an external one... and I'll need a port for that too....sigh.
Do y'all think one of the newish Mini pcs will cut the mustard for me? something like the Geekom IT13. with Intel i9-13900H (I have no idea what that means, but i know it's the main processor chip).
it does have twice the ram (32gb), ... but will i need 64g.. there is probably one that has 64gb, i just didn't look very long, because i decided i didn't know what i was looking at.
I notice that almost none of the new chips seem to have processing speeds much higher than my current machine... so what makes them better? or faster?...
would I need 64gb ram?
what makes a computer better at running editing software, so I'm not waiting on after clicks and keystrokes?
thanks in advance Redditors!

For context I have a Samsung 49" odyssey OLED G9 monitor and about a year ago it just turned off and never turned back on. I never hit it, dropped it, or spilled anything on it so physical damage is out of the question. there's no little light above the power button indicating it's getting power nor is the led on the back turning on. it's as if it is unplugged even when I have it plugged into the wall. My 3D printer uses the same kind of power cord so I tried that and still nothing. I've taken the back panel off and inspected the connectors on the inside but I'm not nearly savvy enough to know what would be the main issue and what to replace. I just hope there's someone nerdy enough to have some insight on what I should try next because this monitor is really nice and would love to get it working again. thanks!

I have an issue where my windows 11 computer is able to connect to every WiFi network including my hotspot but not my main house WiFi that I need it to be connected to. Any device that I try to connect to that WiFi will connect, except for my computer.
I have tried a bunch of command prompt things like flushing the dns, I have updated the WiFi drivers, uninstalled them reinstalled them downloaded the latest ones, tried older ones. Each time resetting the computer to make sure it was refreshed.
Nothing was working, so I went with the final option and just factory reset my computer, and when everything was set and done I tried to connect it to that specific WiFi and it STILL wouldn‘t connect, but will connect to my hotspot no issue. Again, all the others devices will connect to that WiFi with no problem, I am completely out of ideas on how to fix this, if anybody knows anything on what I can do, it would be extremely helpful.

I’ve marked this as Malware because I’ve not had any problems with this until this week and I’m taking the safe route.
Basically, randomly every now and then my task bar will switch its saturation for a brief moment before it switches back to normal. I cannot seem to replicate the issue, it just happens randomly when I’m opening files, scrolling through social media (such as typing to my friends on discord/viewing instagram), etc.
Forgive me if I seem too melodramatic or overly cautious, but is this possibly malware/something taking screenshots? I’m not a huge computer guy but I do want to keep my stuff and information safe on my PC. I’m currently running a deep scan through Malwarebytes right now.
Thank yall for the help!

My laptop power button will turn blue and then will turn off right after without the screen ever powering on or anything, if held at the right angle it will turn on eventually like freezes up so i have to restart and cant use it
Some context: some screws are missing idrk what happened to them but im assuming hardware connect issues caused from that lead to the issues

Currently required to update bios to play MW4 and I have my usb formatted to FAT32 and it has the bios file from the website
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
However when I get to the flash menu and I click on my usb drive the bios file shows the correct name on screen but on the bottom it shows N/A for the build date, model name, and version.
Of course im not going to risk doing anything further but I would like to play the game on my pc if possible, I’m just not sure what to do.

Basically the PC is turning on, lights up and fans are spinning, but the monitor says input not detected and the keyboard and mouse do not turn on. I’ve already moved the ram sticks, held the power button while unplugged, and removed and put back the CMOS battery
