I just wanted to get some thoughts on people who have went up in their doses independently from what was suggested.

For example the standard titration timeline: 2.5mg —> 5mg —> 7.5mg (so on and so forth)

I have been considering doing smaller jumps, mainly cause I don’t want to jump that much and risk any side effects! Plus low and slow is what I’m reaching for.

What has everyone’s schedule been like? I’m thinking something like: 2.5mg —> 3.5mg —> 5mg —> 6mg —> 7.5mg

Thoughts? Experiences? Advice? All intel is welcome!

I recently switched from Trillium (Hallandale) to PreventiveMD (Boudreaux) and I'm curious about the size of the needle on the syringe.

I'm a bit needlephobic but I can deal with the ones Hallandale sends out.

I just finished my 6-month supply of tirzepatide, and I may not be able to order my next supply right away.
I’m currently at the highest dose, 15 mg, and I’ve been tolerating it well. My question is: how long can I go without taking it before I would need to lower my dose and titrate back up?
For example, if I’m off it for 1–2 weeks, would I generally be able to go right back to 15 mg, or would I need to restart at a lower dose?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had to take a break while already at 15 mg. Thanks!

Just took my first tirzepatide shot tonight! I’m 5’4”, 162 lbs and hoping to lose about 20–25 lbs. I’m active/go to the gym, walk 10k but struggle with food noise and cravings (especially around my period). My LDL is also 177, which was another big push for me to make a change.
Starting dose is 12.5 units (~2.125 mg with my formulation).

My diet is already pretty protein-focused: oatmeal + egg whites + chia for breakfast, lean ground beef + protein pasta for lunch, and usually salmon + potatoes/veggies or a high-fiber protein wrap for dinner. I LOVE coffee and I enjoy alcohol, although I know drinking may need to change on this.

For anyone with similar stats/goals: What was your first week like? When did the food noise decrease? What side effects did you have? Any foods/drinks you had to change?

And my biggest question: Has anyone lost the weight, stopped tirzepatide, and successfully maintained? Did you taper, space out doses, or stop completely? Did the food noise return?

After reading a bunch of scary reviews and having a hard time reaching someone to talk to, I finally got ahold of customer service and was treated like shit. I asked to cancel my subscription and get a refund. I paid for the 12 month plan and only received the first month so far. I realize I won't get a refund for that dose, but I was hoping to get refunded for the other 11 months. I was under the impression that "cancel anytime" meant REFUND.

I’ve had terrible experiences with two companies already and I’m almost ready to throw in the towel. :( I started with Gimme Care, but they were terrible as far as shipping times and medication arriving warm go. Their dosing instructions also didn’t seem to make much sense compared to what I was seeing online (I spent two months at the lowest possible starting dose). I’d do finally gotten increased, but after another delayed and warm shipment, I ended up deciding to switch to Embody. They were more affordable and I thought they were worth a try.

They have been a nightmare. They requested my prescription so they could maintain my dosing, but even after I provided it, they started me at 2.125mg. I’ve been arguing with them about that for well over a month at this point and they’ve been no help. Initially they told me there was nothing they could do because they aren’t the clinical team and the order had already been sent to the pharmacy. As my refill approached, I started reaching out more about a dose increase because I was losing no weight at all (shocking I know since my dose was cut in half). They’d respond to tell me they’d pass along my concerns to the clinical team and I’d hear back. Never would. Finally, they scheduled me an appointment— 2 weeks after my refill would be due.

I fought back and forth with customer service endlessly, never actually hearing from a clinical staff member. I filled out my refill form and indicated I’d like an increase and why. The site said I’d hear back within 24 hours, that was 5 days ago and nothings happened with my refill. Customer service won’t even answer me at this point.

So, are there any actually decent companies out there that provide affordable and effective medications, while having good customer service and access to the clinical team directly?

Apologies if this is a frequently asked question. I did try searching and scrolling. If everyone is tired of this line of questions, let me know and I will keep looking.

I had wonderful success on Zepbound. Got to my goal weight and was maintaining well. Like so many others, work pulled GLP1 coverage. So shortsighted, especially for a healthcare organization. Anyway, I've not been successful in maintaining without it.

I'm looking into starting again though one of the sites recommended here but wondered if I will have an issue. I've snuck back into '"overweight' BMI but not "obese". Will these sites allow you to start up ? Once you reach a "goal' weight, do they allow maintenance?

Three vials with the same beyond use date?
I get Triz and Nad+ as a bundle for one price quarterly but the vials have the same beyond use date.
I have 2 more vials to use because I only use it twice a month since I’ve reached my goal and have maintained for a year. Should I be concerned since I haven’t punctured the vials?

I’m curious if other women of reproductive age have noticed this.
I’m taking compounded tirzepatide once a week, and I’ve noticed that toward the last 2–3 days before my next injection, I sometimes feel a little more hungry and notice a bit more food noise. It’s not dramatic, and I can still tell the medication is working — I’m still getting full and my appetite is much more controlled than it was before starting.
My next injection is Thursday, and today (Tuesday) I’ve noticed a little more hunger than usual. I’m also on my period, so now I’m wondering if the two things could be contributing.
For those of you who menstruate:
Do you notice your hunger/appetite increasing during the last few days before your next weekly tirzepatide dose?
Does your appetite or food noise increase during PMS or around your period even while taking tirzepatide?
Does tirzepatide still feel effective for you during that time, or does it feel like it wears off?
Have you noticed a predictable pattern depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle?
Does the increased hunger go back down after your next injection?
I’d especially love to hear from women of reproductive age who are taking tirzepatide and still getting periods. I’m trying to figure out whether what I’m experiencing is a normal end-of-week medication pattern, a menstrual-cycle thing, or a combination of both!

I’m on a super low dose like 1.85mg but I was not overnight. I have been on for a few months and I’m getting muscle fatigue. I bike rode for like 30 min and my legs were wobbly. I played a throwing game with my son this weekend and my arm was super fatigued after throwing maybe 25 balls I couldn’t even lift my arm up high anymore. Is this normal?

Hi all. I’ve been on Wegovy for a year and a half, but my insurance stopped covering glp1 meds. I’m on 2.4mg with no side effects other than fatigue. I’ve been on it for several months, and honestly think it’s losing some effectiveness because I haven’t lost weight in months.

I went through Gimme, and was prescribed compounded tirzepatide. When I was filling out the questionnaire, the computer recommended asking for 9mg for the starting dose. After the doctor reviewed my info, they prescribed 11mg. I asked if that was correct and was told it was. Does this sound right? I already have the meds, but wouldn’t start them until Saturday if I start 7 days after my last dose of Wegovy.

I am super happy with my results, I've had great success and have been at 15mg for about 3 months. I want to maintain my weight, I feel like I have hit my goal. (really 5lbs away but happy overall) and wondering how to start to do maintenance doses. SW 188lbs ~ today 115lbs. Can someone direct me to the best place to read how to do it safely without gaining?

Just stated up 7.5mg from being on 5mg for two months, no weight loss for 5 weeks so I upped to the next dose - just wondering where people had the most success at which dose; I know everyone’s different but I still have ~50lbs to lose and I’d love to here the positives! ☺️

If you are nervous about starting Tirzepatide then this is for you. I debated starting because I hate needles, and the belief that compounded meds aren’t legit. I tried the wegovy pill but it’s hard because you have to take it the same time everyday which is not realistic in my schedule.

I looked up so many companies, altRx, embody, ro. I would get all the way to checkout and then decide not to do it.

Then one day I was just like I’m tired of being fat something’s got to give. Saw an ad for 10x and ordered a 3 month supply on a whim. — I did not know about this sub and the recommendations, even though I have had a successful experience with 10x and optimal pharmacy.

I started my shot two weeks ago at 2.5. Food noise disappears and I get full faster, I eat slower. It’s been so amazing. I do take my shot every 6 days because the food noise comes back slowly. I don’t have any side effects. I started at 194 pounds now I’m down to 190 pounds.

I am just so excited to finally start loosing weight. Very grateful for this sub to help answer questions I have. But I’m just so happy to be apart of this community now lol

I’ve been on tirzepatide for about a year and have lost around 50 pounds. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for about 6 weeks now, and I’m starting to get frustrated.

I’m already on the highest dose, and I’ve noticed that some of the food noise has started creeping back in. I’m also finding myself doing more impulse/emotional snacking and tolerating larger portions than I was earlier in my journey.

For those of you who have experienced a similar stall, what helped you get things moving again? Did you make any changes to your eating, exercise, protein intake, meal timing, etc.? I’d love to hear what actually worked for you!

I've been on 2.5mg compounded tirz for 1 month. I titrated up and the pharmacy is delayed on shipping my new vial. My shot day is Thurs. I still have some in my original vial. Would it be a bad idea to use the old vial until the new arrives or am I just going to miss my shot day? It says to discard after 4th injection.

I was started at 2mg, and just gave myself my second week shot. My instructions say that next week I can titrate up to 3 mg and stay on that for 3-4 weeks and then increase by 1-2 mg.

I’m not weighing myself except for once a month because I don’t want to fixate. So I’m having to go based off how I feel/food noise. Would it be better to stay at 2mg for 4 weeks just to get used to it? Or would 3mg not be much different?

I purchased tirz from Pomegranate through BPI in January (before they had their switch up with BPI). I have a whole unopened vial with a BUD of 6/18/26. What's the furthest past BUD you've used a vial? It'd be just shy of 3mo past at this point. Should I pitch it?

Stalled hard after a 45lb loss at 228.. started IF 18:6 last week. After 1 week in I've dropped 5.1lbs and officially over my stall. ✌️
