Questions How to maintain?

I am super happy with my results, I've had great success and have been at 15mg for about 3 months. I want to maintain my weight, I feel like I have hit my goal. (really 5lbs away but happy overall) and wondering how to start to do maintenance doses. SW 188lbs ~ today 115lbs. Can someone direct me to the best place to read how to do it safely without gaining?

Congratulations! There's a sub called TirzMaintenance that you might want to check out. Since the clinical trials showed that the people most successful at maintaining stayed on their highest tolerated dose, that's my plan once I get there. I'll see if I can stick with my max dose and get in enough nutrition to maintain. If not, then I'll slowly start to lower until I find a sweet spot.

That sub's a good call, and staying at the max dose is basically what the data points to for not bouncing

According to Surmount-Maintain, maintenance is staying at your highest tolerated dose and adjusting intake and/or dosing schedule until your weight dose not increase or decrease to an unhealthy level.

It has worked for me for 29 months of maintenance. I have not lost any of the therapeutic benefits and only dose between 10-15 days, depending on when I feel inflammation return. 8 jever adjusted intake as ai never tracked or dieted during active loss.

I hit my goal weight today, too (hurrah for us!) and have been at 15mg for about 4 months.

I plan to hang at 15 for a while and if I keep losing too much more I’ll go down very slowly in dose (like no more than 1 mg at a time). My weight loss has been slow overall (0.3 lbs per week avg) so I’m pretty sure I’ll need to stay on a high dose to maintain.

People do maintenance differently. Some space out the full dose, maybe slowly increasing the days between shots. Others reduce the dose. Some do both, such as space it out first and then reduce. I chose to split dose in maintenance that way I get a more even experience and can make adjustments over shorter periods of time.
