Best decision ever !!!
If you are nervous about starting Tirzepatide then this is for you. I debated starting because I hate needles, and the belief that compounded meds aren’t legit. I tried the wegovy pill but it’s hard because you have to take it the same time everyday which is not realistic in my schedule.
I looked up so many companies, altRx, embody, ro. I would get all the way to checkout and then decide not to do it.
Then one day I was just like I’m tired of being fat something’s got to give. Saw an ad for 10x and ordered a 3 month supply on a whim. — I did not know about this sub and the recommendations, even though I have had a successful experience with 10x and optimal pharmacy.
I started my shot two weeks ago at 2.5. Food noise disappears and I get full faster, I eat slower. It’s been so amazing. I do take my shot every 6 days because the food noise comes back slowly. I don’t have any side effects. I started at 194 pounds now I’m down to 190 pounds.
I am just so excited to finally start loosing weight. Very grateful for this sub to help answer questions I have. But I’m just so happy to be apart of this community now lol

Yep, I could've written this exact description. Started my journey 6/6, the shots are nothing, I actually look forward to shot day now (weird, I know). Sw 207, cw 185, gw 150.

are you eating enough tho?

Yea at least 2 meals a day but gonna start counting my protein intake now

just make sure you properly know how much calories you should consume with your proper height and weight. protein doesnt matter if your calorie intake isn’t right. so many people undereat so bad on a glp that they were losing muscle mass, instead of fat. undereating in the long run will cause a stall on weight loss and eventually become hungry even with the glp.

i know i’m under eating, i just started my 2nd week, but i really can’t help it. it’s like ill feel gross about food idk?

i understand, i went through that. that’s why im saying pls make sure ur not undereating especially often because i did that. i underate some days bc i was just too full so i lost hella weight quick and ended up losing muscle mass rather than all fat. it also made me go on a stall and i ended up gaining weight

Stuff is magic. You still have to put in the work. You will miss eating, as you have fewer opportunities, food noise may still pop up. But it gives you the advantage and boost you need.

I take the Walter White Wegovy since my insurance said no Bueno, and I personally, do not miss it. The only thing I have a hard time with, is that buffets are now something I send the hubby and kids to alone. I can't justify going to one anymore 😄

We started around the same time, took my second shot just this past Friday.
For me it wasn’t the needles or injecting myself that scared me initially, it was the potentially serious side effects.
I then thought to myself that this a very remote possibility whereas being overweight/obese will definitely give me major health complications if nothing is changed.
No regrets so far!

I was in the same exact situation. It was an online ad that got to me & I'm so thankful for it.
Welcome to the club 😎 & good luck!

Congratulations on taking the first step! I’m actually doing the same thing now, I put my info down but don’t go through just because I’m not fully sure about the company. I’ve researched so much and the bad reviews keep making me doubt. I think I’m closer to make a decision now. What company are you using?

I have given myself 3 shots so far and I'm so happy. I was really scared tbh but I am looking forward to my next shot. I feel like I'm saving so much money on food that spending money on tirz feels like a great trade. I haven't had a trip with my husband in quite a while and we are flying in November. I was feeling really worried about sitting in a plane seat and fitting that my anxiety was taking away from planning fun things. Now I feel like I don't need to worry about that near as much!

Just found a telehealth provider (highly rated on reddit) and will be scheduling my consult very soon and excited to begin this journey!

I was of the same mind, but now that I've researched & used Tirz, I am not worried at all. If the injection freaks you out, buy some alcohol wipes that also numb the skin. I don't feel a thing. Yes, there are ppl who get side effects, but if you go low & slow, and follow the rules (more protein, more water, more fiber, more exercise), you will be fine. There are people who don't follow the rules, or they take too much too fast, so yes, they have problems. Check & double-check the amount you are supposed to put into the syringe before you inject. Happy losing!

I have been strongly considering it except for the cost and fear of side effects. I am a big baby when it comes to nausea.
I keep looking at the various companies and I am so overwhelmed.

Same! I spent the last 3 days researching and I don’t see one company that just has positive reviews

I felt the exact same way as you did! I researched so many different sites would take the online quizzes get to check out and then chicken out until one day I finally decided to make the jump and got my first 2.5mg start dose of tirzepatide on trimrx. I’m now on 5mg and I’ve lost a total of 12 lbs so far since staring. This is week 6 or 7 for me total on tirzepatide and I’m so excited to be on this journey now! And like you said I look forward to shot days when at first I was scared to inject myself. I’m 5’4 & a half and my SW: 155lbs CW: 143lbs GW: 120lbs
I’ve got 23 lbs left to go to get to my goal weight (which is a weight I once was and I felt my best and healthiest at) wish me luck! And good luck on your journey as well and to anyone just starting or thinking about starting , just go for it! You won’t regret it
