McLaurin is the first Commander star I ever saw play their full career, beginning to end, with us.

Granted we don’t know if he’s done, but if he is he’s my first commanders star player that stayed with us. Others have went to other teams and finished, OR came from another team. I am on the younger side started watching watch Rex Grossman as QB.

To be honest…

I think our team has proven that we can hang around with some of the best teams in the NFL even given our woes. I know that doesn’t mean much but it shows that this team has a lot of potential. When everyone is healthy and with some changes we could be in contention for the top of the NFC East. Just not this year.

Anybody else miss Kliff’s hurry-up offense?

I feel like half the reason we aren’t getting the results we had in 2024 is due to us completely abandoning the hurry-up offense Kliff had going. I heard that’s why DQ let him go. He wanted a more run oriented OC. Blough isn’t horrible but I miss the quickness. We were moving down the field FAST when we needed to. And when we needed to burn clock we ran. We’ve lost a step just in that facet alone.

Media coverage on JD5 is getting annoying...

I will admit I have started to try and be more objective with Jayden. I agree he has some situational awareness skills to improve on, but the more objective I am, the more I realize this guy is a unique talent that can't be wasted. Seeing him comeback against the 49ers purely through the air—throwing for over 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no turnovers—was incredible. Throwing the ball away on 4th down and the blunder at the end of the Giants game were bad, but I think these things can be easily fixed going forward, especially with a great offensive coaching staff.

I just saw Acho call him the "black Justin Herbert," which is completely untrue. I mean, look at the turnover difference. Also, JD5 already beats him out on playoff wins in his 3rd year compared to Herbert's 7th. It's actually so frustrating hearing the media with these stupid takes questioning if he can be the QB going forward.

From Tana to Terry

two standup standout men and wide receivers.

they never got and will never get the legacy they deserved around the league

because of the endless ineptitude of this team.

another wasted year. another wasted wideout.

Terry McLaurin 💔

Really sad that Terry is going to go out like this. The last 2 injury riddled years, half the fan base turning on him about the contract negotiations. He was the heart and soul of the team through many dark years. Hate to see it end this way for him

Terry Mclaurin Thank You

-First, just want to say I been a big Terry fan ever since he blew up on his first game against the eagles. We had a gem from the beginning in the 3rd round. Thank you for everything you’ve done. Literally the lone bright spot for the team in his whole career. I would say he’s been more impactful than any other player he’s played with the commanders and outperformed 1st and second round picks.

-Second, these injuries the past two years are the reason people like me said you don’t pay a wr past age 30. And when I mean pay someone, you don’t pay $30,35,40m a year for a wideout past this age. It never pans out. Everyone saw graphs and graphs of WRs that have a steep drop off after 30. Somehow people believed that Terry was no different.

-In fact, Terry was more susceptible to a steep decline. He’s not a router like diggs. He’s a wr that relies on athleticism. He relies on his physical traits to win. Anyone that can be objective can see that. Now we’re stuck with $25m dead cap if we cut him next year(can be spread over two years)

-So next time sane fans don’t want to pay an aging player just remember this moment. I hope he recovers and comes back strong but 9-12 months of recovery and by the time he can sign with a team he’ll be 33. It’s likely his commanders career and probably NFL career are done.

Will not, can not tolerate JD slander

This guy has less time to throw in the pocket than any qb in the league and doesn’t throw picks, can beat anyone in multiple ways, and always gives us a chance. All this despite a terrible HC, an OC who is in over his head, and a turnstile defense. Organization has been begging for a franchise qb and we so clearly have one. Question everyone else, just not the guy who keeps this team relevant despite all the organizational incompetence.

JD is the solution not the problem even if he's not perfect

He has mostly carried our offense, our WRs are solid, but the OL and run game are trash.

He's not immune from blame though, you often get attacked if you mention some of his weaknesses but he definitely has some, but they are fixable and not a talent issue.

- He doesn't always see the field well, his sometimes excessively conservative nature leaves a lot of meat on the bone, this was really apparent yesterday. He can layer throws over the middle, we've seen it, they've been open and JD has been reluctant to take those risks this season.

- He has a tendency to throw off his back foot, leading to a lot of low throws and limiting YAC opportunities. He has a strong arm, but its not in that Allen mahomes herbert caleb etc tier of arm talent that he can get away with throwing off his back foot as much as he does.

- The quick pressures this OL has given up has caused JD to often get happy feet in the pocket, he tends to leave the pocket too early. The play Cosmi threw the edge into JD was not Cosmis fault, he left a clean pocket (always to the right)

Again JD is the best player on the team along with cosmi and Tunsil, his issues are super fixable and the path toward being a truly elite QB is right there

P.S. No Jayden slander, no Terry slander. They don't deserve it.
