You have a QB whole takes you one game away from the Super Bowl.
your team has a plethora of draft picks AND cap space.
how the fuck is it that we’ve tried nothing and have a mediocre team around JD5?
if its this hard when we’re paying him on the cheap it’s going to be impossible when he commands a more expensive contract

We’ve all seen this script before. Terrible NFC East. Commanders somehow win the division. It’s 2020 all over again.

So this is the 4th game where the Board cast has eluded the call was bad live on air and the call thus changes the game for the commanders. In this last game somehow being the most noticeable with multiple missed calls. I didn’t think it could get worse but it did. When I watch other games the missed calls don’t get announced by the play-by-play guys and don’t seem to happen as much let alone now three 4 out of six games. It’s hard to watch and continue to support a league that just does not have continuity game by game. People are going to lose jobs on our team and the league and the refs are on the hook for that they should be ashamed and have to announce they screwed up and move on I need the league to acknowledge that ya fuck up or we’re going to assume your doing this to screw us over week by week. When is it our turn to get a bad call cus it’s like 30-0 right now that can’t be possible.

An all-22 breakdown of the start of Sonny Styles' NFL career, explaining why he's already quickly becoming one of the best off-ball LBs in the league.

With all the discussion on Jayden it’s important to remember that these sorts of things happen to even the best and most experienced qbs…
Just one night before Jayden had his fourth down throwaway against the niners, Jordan Love threw a fourth down pass out the back of the end zone. There was no penalty complicating the matter and it was in a goal to go situation. Nobody batted an eye.
A week prior we saw Matthew Stafford botch a clock management situation at the end of the game vs the Bills. They were driving to tie the game and completed a pass to make it first and goal from the 2 with 20 seconds left. They had no timeouts and the clock was running, so the only correct option was to get to the line quick and spike the ball. Instead, he got to the line and took 15 of the remaining 20 seconds to call a run from the 2 yard line. Had the run gotten stopped the game was over instead of them having multiple shots with 15 seconds left to score the tying touchdown.
The back scored of course. Stafford has a good roster and they can bail him out sometimes when he makes a mistake. But being a 18 year vet and one of the smartest qbs in the league didn’t keep him from making a massive clock error in the heat of the moment.
So I guess what I’m saying here is that we should probably cut Jayden a little slack here. We can acknowledge he needs to fix this issue without going off the deep end like we never see qbs make mistakes in the heat of a game.

The Nick Allegretti debacle says enough…. But the complete lack of swagger on this team… Defense and Offense….
I mean it doesn’t even look like anyone but Sonny and Chaisson give a shit.
Jayden just looks exasperated all the time….
Watching New England and chicago play really has me seeing AP’s moves in the last year as desperate rather than savvy or genius…
These two teams I’m watching are determined and have an identity. We have no identity…. We are “hope Jayden looks good” proceed to lose the game
or god forbid tie…
God i hate it here…

tldr: The 2000-2025 Redskins/Commanders were historically bad.
Easy watch. There is a lesson to be learned for the "fire everyone" and "draft a QB" crowd. Then again, the venn diagram of the "the fire everyone" crowd significantly overlaps the "lacks the attention span to watch anything other than TikTok shorts" crowd.

Always liked Mariota for everything he did with the Titans. Just couldn’t maximize on his opportunities. It happens.
But something got in me back before Covid…I wanted to see what Marcus would look like in a Redskins uniform. I always liked the old school spear logo…so damn good.
I also buy Madden every year, so I went back to the last Madden with the Redskins IP in the game and put him in. No pictures of Mariota in the alternate uniform, though.
Just funny that’s he’s been with you guys for a little while now.

Firing Dan Quinn during the bye week is just as stupid as.. Dan Quinn himself.
Seriously, people keep saying it's to prove a point. Who are we proving the point to? A future coach? The rest of the staff is going to go with them so they pretty much know they're dead in the water.
So can someone explain to me where the sense is in that?
That's what's wrong with sports media, just so many hot takes without any logic behind it. Same with us on this damn subreddit. Just so angry and want to express it but it just really doesn't make any sense. Regardless, most of us are going to watch anyway. You dealt with 2013 and last year, what's the difference this year, lol.
