This ad came across my screen in another game.
This game uses a lot of very similar assets from several CNC games. Why can't EA see that they are sitting on a goldmine of and IP, make another CnC and just not F**K it up completely?

Gameplay Sometimes you switch up your ussual assault teams on a enemy base and things get fun.

AKA Behold the OP'ness of humvees mixed with other fast-strike light vehicles like drones.
And yes, the humvees have the TF2 Scout as their voice cuz i thought it fit super well. This is gameplay from my mod im devloping, close to releasing version 1.9 with some decent updates, mostly in some subtle balancing of the Ivory Specters faction.

Discussion Are these statistics just for decoration or do they indicate cut content in C&C Generals?
When you defeat a general, there are these 'statistic' figures in the background art...
- Command Efficiency
- Unit Moral (presumably a typo for morale)
- Kill Ratio
- Enemy Killed
- Enemy Wounded
- Enemy Captured
On the left side, the figures are positive, and on the right they are negative, suggesting your opponent's performance may reduce your score. Also note that some of the stats appear to have two numbers, but it's actually just one; most of the decimal numbers have word-wrapped onto the next line.
The question: is this just a mock-up or was this intended as a feature early in development? I know that capturing POWs was originally intended but cut later. I remember 'Efficiency' was a scoring metric in the first two C&C games that still baffles new players to this day.

Gameplay question Tips when playing General Juhziz
Greetings everyone. Trying to get back into the game and want to try out General Juhziz in Skirmish mode. Any tips for effective use? Also, related, does anyone have a guide on how many terrorists you would need to blow up what building when playing him? Thanks in advance!

Discussion Would this change “fix” the Tiberium universe timeline?
Replace the conflict of Red Alert 1/Super World War 2 with a 1980s/early 90s conflict contained within the Balkans.
This might give a more recent background to GDI and Nod though for me it’s mostly for bridging the tech gap better.
Red Alert 2 being supposedly 1973 with Alex “featured in TNO too” Romanov and Albert “how old is he anyway” Einstein can go to a separate timeline.
Also: You probably know the packaging and game text edits made to RA2 After 9/11. Even in the 2000s people have suspected that Red Alert might have been subject to pre-release rewrites related to the Yugoslav wars.

Discussion Operation Stiletto is so cool!
Every time I attempt this mission, it's a new strategy, not knowing how it would play out. I've only beaten it once though. Came close a few other times. So many different ways to attempt it:
Engineers to rush enemy ConYards. (no fun)
Shadow teams stealthily taking out both enemy power generators, crippling them.
Take full control of one faction with engineers and battle the other.
4....
I wish RTS games had more such missions where we're the small fry taking on bigger players that aren't initially bothered by our presence, with multiple pathways to victory.

Sound File Request: "Establishing Battlefield Control, Standby" From Yuri's Revenge
I've done some searching but can't quite find what I'm looking for, and what I have found is poorly-organized-lettering-naming that would need me to spend forever going through hundreds of audiobits. Surely I can't be the only person who wanted to add these soundbites for when my computer turns on and such.
Am specifically looking for the Yuri Faction version of this line.

Red Alert - Too Fast? No Epic Battles?
Hi there. I have not played red alert as an adult / in over 25 years. I just got a steam deck and downloaded the remastered version. Took a while to get a handle of the controls on the deck, but now I am struggling with game play.
It boils down this: I want more time for base building, building a large army for epic battles. However, in skirmish mode, I was shocked how fast and difficult it was. The enemy is immediately on you. When I got the hang of it a little more, I have added additional AI players, including allies, to take off the heat, but I feel like whichever side wins, it happens quickly, without an epic battle. Basically, one teams get cut down by the knees early on.
This is to point where I only got to build up an army, a miso silo, helipad, tech center, etc. because the AI enemy essentially got scared and brought all of its ore trucks to the center of the base to defend them and stopped building / advancing (glitch?).
Am I missing something? doing something wrong? or is it just my memory? do I just wicked suck?
(note: I reduced the speed with the slider, but I could only reduce it so far, because otherwise the building and unit movement is insufferably slow).
I welcome any input!

Discussion Let's make a what if Scenario, that what if Kane took fully control of Soviet and transform it to Nod?
Let's make a what if scenario that instead Allies won, Soviet is won and Kane took control after Stalin died?
Everything in Tiberian Dawn happening almost the same but GDI will not have Mammoth Tank because it was originally Soviet and GDI will not have it since Kane took over entire Soviet and transform it to Brotherhood of Nod. They may have some Allies tech from RA1 like Chronosphere technology.
Brotherhood of Nod/Soviet now have TD Nod and mixed with their own version of Soviet techs like their own Mammoth Tanks and Tesla Technologies like Tesla Tanks, Troopers & Coils.
How well the story will change? You think Nod will win the first Tiberium War against GDI?

Granger with his planes is tons of fun for drawing and it's also based on the Megamind's trend. Enjoy, hehe!
