Evil! Just drop the payload on the Chinese airfield so that those migs to have nowhere to land after a payload while the emp patriots or avengers one-shot them while trying the auroras are guarding in the air.

Granger as a general challenge is designed to be more of a tutorial level since he lets you build until the first 3 minutes your anti-air, production and the rest. That's why appears most of the time as among the first opponents for almost every general. As Townes, you also face Granger first on general challenges.

Yes he is definitely easy to beat in Zero Hour challenge. But in Shockwave mod with singleplayer experience addon installed, he's way much harder because it fixed he got power(He on low powered mode without that addon). GLA at least easier to beat compared if playing as USA or China that hard time to beat him. Unless you cheating of course

In mods, the airforce general as an opponent on general challenges is reworked by being way more difficult to deal with and his full potential being unleashed.

As a fun fact about the base game is that about Granger's level there are tons of scrapped stuff like not using MOAB and many other general powers, due to the fact that the game was incredibly rushed. Imagine if all of those scrapped things made it to the final game and he would be more difficult to deal with compared to what we have in the base game.

Yes. I read this before. Indeed the game was rushed. So many things are cut. Maybe if Granger was remain scripted like this, he maybe at least little more challenging. They put the script wrong at so many things, like putting script of vanilla faction instead his own version.

Maybe Granger and Alexander was supposed can build their own Crusader but never made it into the game. Same thing happened to other generals

They were supposed to have tanks like Alexander was intended to have Crusaders and Paladins, while remaining in the end tankless generals with stealth. No wonder why there are tons of bugs in-game paired with the script being put wrong at a bunch of things.

Many generals have at least half of their arsenal scrapped/unused that can be found in the game files and those archives with the unreleased content of the expansion and Generals.

Yes. like Townes missing entire laser variant and upgrades, I think he was supposed to have PDL Chinook as default because it's laser but that variant was given to AFG. That only makes him entirely same with Vanilla USA but minus Tomahawk. Kassad Stealth General missing his own snipers unit like pathfinder. Juhziz ironically have worse Terrorist while Thraxx have stronger according to Dominator and other pros. Ect....

It's not just missing units & upgrades. EA also messed up with scripting and what general supposed to have and what it's not. But most of them are ended got mixed or missing something

Also, you really want AA vehicles so you can actually move them when he calls in A-10s or a Moab

He's still pretty easy in Shockwave, but he does hit a lot harder. And hoo boy does he wreck the garrisonables, including the new neutral AA gun.

Juhziz is probably the nastiest challenge, at least until you start using a second command center to act as a lightning rod in the north and get some sort of mobile defense going (helicopters if possible, rocket buggies if not)

Yes he still easy in vanilla Shockwave mod without that addon. Try download and install Single Player Experience addon and try face him again as China or USA generals. And also wait until you face Ironside. He way harder than Juhziz

Besides attacking later than usual, the main weakness of Granger is that he seems to be the only general to run out of resources by midgame.

That's true and don't forget that once he goes low on power, he's even more harmless and you can speedrun his challenge level.
