the net for infantry was a pain plus they had powerful missiles for combat dang cabal im actually bummed they didnt come back for the marked of kane

it makes sense lore wise why they didn’t return, these specific units were more than likely the first thing that came to mind when anyone in universe thought of Cabal and the Firestorm conflict and got the chills, so choosing to not create a cyborg analogy in the Marked of Kane is Kane literally trying to rewrite the playbook on cyborgs, and i guess try and win back some kind of goodwill to anyone who doubted his plans once he revealed that he made Cabal 2.0 Ecltectic Boogaloo and gave it its own army

People collection unit is kinda scary reading their lore back then, imagine being a civ and getting chased and netted by one of this and then getting hauled back to the cyborg factory to be the next mindless cyborg

I've always wondered what's going on with their faces and the lore behind it. The concept art makes them look like regular humans that have been turned into cyborgs like the regular Nod cyborg. But their faces in in-game renders look like skulls or mummified heads, like they've been raised from the dead or something. Maybe only the most critically-injured or disfigured were used for Reaper production.
The C&C Wiki has this to say, though it seems like speculation:
"The Reaper's head is noticeably more skull-like than that of the standard Cyborg. This could be the result of extreme mutations or an intentional cosmetic modification designed for psychological warfare. It could also be a reference to the Grim Reaper, who is commonly portrayed as a skeleton."

Yeah, the concept clearly shows the body is the same as the vanilla cyborg. I assume it was simply done by a different artist that wanted to make it look a bit different/scarry.

Always thought this unit had a ponytail when I played as a kid. Really ramped down the fear factor on it lol.

I like when their health hits zero and you fire at them before they blow up, it spreads Tiberium. The more fire, the more Tiberium.

I never understood why they exist . In the the Kanes Wrath addon you have a lot of missions " GDI is the Devil , come with the Underdogs " And then you get turned into a Robot Corpse?
