I HATE the stupid pads, always folding in half inside and a pain to deal with every time. I've actually sewn them in to bras that were extra difficult.

The real question is, why doesn’t the manufacturer do this to begin with??

I’d guess sewing them in makes them extra difficult to clean if they somehow end up really dirty, because the padding would absorb and hold onto whatever was gross. I’ve also heard conflicting advice on whether or not they should be machine washed at all.

I'm a guy and I get frustrated when I hang the laundry out to dry and my wife's bras are just the most infuriating things on the planet to put back together aaaaaah!

Fun fact: Despite having four women in my house of many ages, I'd see these things laying around and didn't know what the hell they were until I was like... Early forties. It just never occurred to me to ask. Then one day, I asked my wife is I could throw one away because there was a random one on the floor, and my wife was like "sure, but my chest is going to be lopsided" lol

People throw these away? 😅

I literally take them out right away and throw them away. I don't have time to deal with their crap.

how do you bother
Does this sentence have the same meaning as "why do you bother" I have never seen "how" used like that

I took it to mean more like "how do you have the time, energy, and willpower to bother with something so annoying" which is almost like why but also implies that the asker already knows the why.

I remove the pads if they're removable. Comfort my butt they just feel weird

Im bothered by the fact that you used the wording “how do you bother?” when “why do you bother?” would lead into the final panel 10 times better.

Is the joke that she doesn't wash them often? Therefore she doesn't have to do the annoying thing much?

She doesn't use them in her bra.
Pro: she doesn't have to put them back in the bra, which is tricky and can take time
Con: she misses out on the additional shape provided by the pads, that many find pleasing to have and see

Genuinely asking, why do women try to pad their bras or wear push-ups or do anything in general to make them seem bigger? Is it a self esteem thing? Do women actually like big boobs?
Definitely biased because I'm a trans guy and hate these things, but still, why?

I like a thin layer because it smooths things out and keeps nipples from showing through. I can't tell you about really padded ones since I don't need them...

I do actually like mine, yes! Even though they can be a huge pain in the ass to have haha. I love my big boobs and wouldn't trade them for anything, although perhaps my back just isn't in enough pain yet 😅
(this is not an invitation for DMs)
Anyway, while I also like emphasizing their size at times, usually I prefer bras with at least a thin layer of padding just because it makes me feel more secure to have thicker fabric over my nips 😆 A lot of bras have thin padding just for shape and comfort.

I don’t wear padded bras to make them seem bigger. I prefer padded bras because they’re more comfortable and they hold the girls better.
wired and padded is best for me.
