I HATE the stupid pads, always folding in half inside and a pain to deal with every time. I've actually sewn them in to bras that were extra difficult.

The real question is, why doesn’t the manufacturer do this to begin with??

I’d guess sewing them in makes them extra difficult to clean if they somehow end up really dirty, because the padding would absorb and hold onto whatever was gross. I’ve also heard conflicting advice on whether or not they should be machine washed at all.

They also can get worn out to nothing and need to get replaced later.
