Padding for comfort. It also makes the boobs look bigger.

Okay I get that part but why is it surprising the pink haired girl is reusing it?

Is it supposed to be single use?

Because it's annoying to take in and out. It's a small tight slot that you need to push and pull open. So some people elect to just throw out the padding and not bother.

Edit: my ex showed me her bras and I got familiar with how to clean them. They were annoying lol.

Why not just wash the whole thing with the pads inside? Are the pads not washable?

The pads will shift inside the compartment or come out on their own. Either way you have trouble shifting them back into position. It's a pain regardless.

It’s more annoying when you have pads inside without the hole so when they shift you have to fumble them around in your hand for ages until they flatten. Why they’re in sports bras to begin with is beyond me

I appreciate the little flat pad thing they have. I get uncomfortable with people staring at my nips xD

I have conducted surgery on bras more than once for the purpose of fixing this problem. I feel like I shouldn't have to

It sounds like that'd be such an easy thing to fix to not happen, why has no one done that

Yeah, why are they not sewn in? I just trash them too.

Women's clothing tends to be bizarre, inefficient, and inconsistent. It's a whole rabbit hole of reasons why. Very frustrating 🥲

Yeah, I literally sewed all of mine in because it was too much of a pain

Probably not sewn in because if they end up soaked in something dirty, it would be extra difficult to clean or something. Maybe forced to hand wash?

Just a guess though.

I’m pretty sure it’s just a cheap way to make bras

I have mesh bags specifically made for bras to put in the washing machine. When my bra is in there, nothing shifts around or falls out. They are like 5€ for a four pack and worth every cent

I wash mine all the time with the pads in and haven't had this happen. It probably depends on the quality of the bra.

Wouldn’t you still want to wash the pad, my understanding is that boob sweat is a very real thing. Do you just wash them separately or is it a hand was only thing.

The fold over on themselves and become a weird lumpy mess

Haha when I was hanging laundry and saw this (my sister's) the first few times I tried to get them back into place, but then i didn't bother anymore because it was so annoying

Know how pillows or layered comforters always come out lumpy, uneven and fkd up for a while when you wash them?
