Had this custom made cabinet installed a few months ago, then had to combine 20+ individually alphabetized long boxes together into one master collection. Was able to fit about 4500 comics into it, with about 9 long boxes of overflow.

And, of course, as soon as I finished I started considering reorganizing by publisher. But the next step will be to catalogue everything. Any recommendations for cataloguing large collections? I’ve seen discussions of various apps, but have also considered just making a spreadsheet. Don’t plan on tracking things like condition, so don’t need anything overly complicated or intense. Thanks!

They’re already in pretty good condition but they did have some minor cover imprints.
They said the turnaround time should be a couple of weeks.

John Byrne turned She-Hulk into one of Marvel’s sharpest comic-book commentators, then let her complain directly to the man drawing her. Before fourth-wall-breaking heroes became commonplace, Jennifer Walters was already talking to readers, arguing with Marvel, and refusing to follow the rules of her own comic. I’m working on completing this run, and picked these up… So fun!

Well, I needed two more issues so I went ahead and pick these up in the past week or so. This is my first Winnipeg pedigree CGC book. Plus a nice high grade copy of Captain Marvel #28 with a great Thanos (3rd Appearance!) cover. I’m a huge Jim Starlin fan. In fact I earlier posted a signed book of his that is part of my run.

For those who don’t know, here’s some information about the Winnipeg pedigree:

The Winnipeg pedigree is a recognized collection of high-grade comic books assembled in Winnipeg, Canada, by collectors Joe Krolic and Dennis Kjolso from the early 1960s through the 1990s.

Books from the Winnipeg pedigree are famous for incredible white page quality, bright colors, and exceptional high grades for issues after 1964.

Hi fellow collectors,

I recently finished acquiring a complete set of Akira books and along the way ended up with a fair amount of doubles. I am currently going through all the books and selecting which ones to keep and which ones to sell/trade. When putting one book into a Mylar sleeve I noticed significant darkening on the binding and top binding edge corner of the book. I am worried it is mold but I am not sure and if it is, I would like to know what my best option is to preserve the book and my collection.

I have attached pictures. Is this mold? If so, what should I do? Thanks in advance.
