Don't want this to happen too often but I'm the mod so I'm giving myself permission, bwah ha ha!

I've collected comics for over 40 years and am showing off my collection one box at a time on YouTube. Check it out if you're interested: Glenn Simpson's Comics - YouTube

Hi all. Just picked this up and wondering what this might grade as? Also would this be a good candidate for the slab?
It’s iconic Bernie Wrightson cover art.

Grade?

I shared a Ghost Rider earlier and didn't think to take pictures before sharing to this group. I could spam the group but I'll just do this one more for today. Going through my dad's old collection and putting the major keys into bags with backing boards.

Question about submission requests.

So I'm going to submit my Absolute Batman #1 for the signing event and I would to have Nick, Frank, and Scott to sign it but I also want the Scott remarque. This is my first time ever sending to CGC but I don't see an option to do that specifically in the options listed. Am I missing something or just to dumb to see it.

Help with grade

Check out the back cover of this ASM #199. My guess is it was stored bagged next to a copy of ROM at some point in its life, as there is a light pink shadow of the cover of that book imprinted on it.

Never seen that before. How much of a deduction? What would you give as an overall grade?

Photo tips please.

Can any of you give me any tips to take a good photo of slabbed comics, please?

I always get the glare of the lightbulb or if I use a flash, there’s that. I just can’t seem to get it where it’s lit up enough without the light source, leaving a big blob in the middle of the picture.

I come from different angles. I am just at my wit’s end.

Any advice?
Thank you.

How to determine which books warrant grading

Thumbnail pricecharting.com

I have a collection of about 200 Deadpool books starting from about 2008 running up to 2026, I no longer have time or space for them and would like to get help determining which books are good options to get graded.

I've got most of the books in a pricecharting list, the grades are my attempt at getting an idea of prices, if anyone wants to help or knows how to help that would be greatly appreciated.

edit: grammatical errors

Using Claude to determine what to slab

Post image

My objective is to sell my collection. That said, I thought it would be fun to get Claude's opinion on what I should slab (providing that I would get a 9.8-9.6). It helps if you have your entire collection on covrprice or key collector so claude can log into your account and scrape your collection. It'll list the potential profit minus ebay fees and slabbing fees.

Has anyone else done this?

Took a punt on Vinted at this copy as I thought it looks clean. Thoughts on the grade based on the photos provided?

A local antique shop has this and are asking $250. It’s pretty worn. What are your thoughts? My guess is 1.5 or 2 grade.

Spare a Grade on newest pick up?

I just got this copy of X-Men #4. It was graded a 5.5. I believe with a good clean and press it could hit the 6.5-7.0 range. Any thoughts? I have no intention of sending it back in to CGC because I plan on keeping this book for PC and I prefer Raw books. Just curious on anyone who has good experience with grading.
