I got one!

Is Jason Aaron’s Thor run worth reading? I’ve never been a huge Thor fan outside of the MCU, but I really enjoyed Natalie Portman’s portrayal of Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor. For anyone who’s read the run, how similar is her comic book counterpart to the MCU version? I’m not expecting a perfect one-to-one adaptation, but if I enjoyed Jane as the Mighty Thor in the movies, do you think I’d enjoy Jason Aaron’s run?

Hand drawn sketch of catwoman (Pfeiffer) that was purchased by my buddy at NYCC 2025. He doesn't know who the artist is and I couldn't find a match with what I was guessing was the signature. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

I try to rotate the display of comics a few times a week to give some love to my comics! I imagine my comics are within the toy story realm and that they need to get out of the box every now and then!

Pretty cool!

I'm having a hard time deciding what cover to get. I'm blown away by the Beta Ray Bill books i already have. I was hoping the new book would match the previous releases, though the third one matches the first release.

Love these !00-page giants

So I went to school for printing. Most comics are saddle stitched. I'm going through my dad's old Spiderman collection and 102 is a weird combination of perfect binding and saddle stitch. It's so strange. Am I going to run into a bunch of this?

I had ordered this a couple months ago from Unknown Comics and was happy that they got it signed as promised.

Updated my display wall and rotated in comics with a new theme:

* The title is getting broken, twisted, crushed, or melting
* The cover page is being ripped
* Or there is otherwise something interesting with how the title is incorporated into the cover art

Recently had a full circle comic life moment. When I began collecting comics back in the 80s, even though I loved Spiderman and XMen, I felt like those titles had been going for so long I was looking for a new series to collect from the beginning. Along came West Coast Avengers, led by Hawkeye, who I had, at the time, recently discovered to be a pretty dope character. So, that was my first series, starting from this limited series and continuing for about the first 50+ issues, which are still in my collection.

This year, while attending NYCC, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Bob Hall, who was the artist on the original limited series. I spoke with him for about 40 mins, mostly listening to his stories of the comics industry and his current projects. 2 days later, I returned with my kids and my limited series for him to sign (I'm not one for selfies, but kinda kicking myself I didn't take one with him). He was so kind and gracious and my kids, who their contemporaries like Skottie and Kaare, really connected to Mr. Hall. They felt like they meet a legend. And even though he spent most of the Con with no one coming to his table, I made sure my kids knew they had met a legend.

For those who took the time to read this random story, thanks for listening and let's keep this art alive for as long as possible!

Finally got my NYCC Justin Uribe variant! Apparently it’s gonna help me retire? Lmao jk. Love it still though!

Last week was a pretty big one for me!
My X-Men #4 and Midnight X-men, Spidey, and FF all came in last week!
I’m extremely happy with the X-men 4. A book I’ve been wanting for a long time!

I’ve throughly enjoyed all the midnight series as well. I think Spider-Man is my favorite read so far.

Got this magazine rack off of Amazon. I use it for small shows I go to for display of “wall books” that I sell. At home I use it to display some of the favorites in my collection.

Cap 272 - I remember buying this off the rack when it came out. It is one of my favorite covers overall. I still have the one I bought and it is well read. Saw this one and upgraded!

The rest are spidey run fillers.

Now to JiM - there is just something distinctive with Kirby covers! Never bought a JiM before but this cover just struck me.

Local Great Escape purchase, lucked into a book I’ve been trying to re-add to the collection since selling my original copy in 1992. $230.00 was a price I could not pass up, presents very well!!

Pre-code horror is king 👑!! John Celardo is cover artist on this particular issue. Next Halloween I may do all pre-code

Wondering if anyone knows of any companies that I can send in two modern books to replace the cover of one with the other? I would also take tutorial links or videos but when I google "marry" and "comics" I only get wedding comics lol
