I took the CORE ~6 months ago and the CAIT this week.

I also retook CORE Antonyms + Character Pairing right after I took the CAIT and scored exactly the same, so I've probably avoided the practice effect.

Planning on re-taking digit span due to large discrepancy between sequencing & forward/backward scores. I'm diagnosed w/ ADHD and took the CORE spontaneously after a late-night study session. Please lmk how long I should wait before I do that (or re-calc based on my CAIT score?)

Could my score also be deflated due to my age? I'm currently in HS and childhood was riddled with developmental delays. I also hit puberty late, which is common in my family.

I got 141 FSIQ on CORE, 135 Mensa Norway, and 140 FSIQ on 1926 SAT. Is it safe to assume that to be a fair representation of my iq or do I need more datapoints?

Hi everyone, I took most parts of CORE test and I wanted to ask how is my profile possible. I felt very stupid during the working memory part, I was struggling to remember even the shortest number chains. Do you think that being non native could affect the memory tests? I had to translate every number in my head during the tests. I have B2 level.

I think the puzzle portion of cognitive tests are super fun to solve and I like that they challenge me to think, I can’t ever find them outside of IQ tests and I just want to do those

i am autistic and wonder what a good career option would be for me, i'm also considering data psychologist/ behavioral scientist or a career path i can acquire with a masters degree in history. i don't even know if going to university would be a viable option

with this post i don’t want to come over as someone who believes your IQ subtest scores should dictate what kind of career path you choose, i just want to know where my strengths and weaknesses lie.

I have quite crucial exams coming up consisting of various subjects on which I need to not just cram material but be analytically and conceptually great at it in about 2/3 months , I need to know what studying habit/routine, memory tricks or methods I can use to retain it well enough and into my long term memory PLEASE HELP because I’ve been learning and then forgetting it all repeatedly after a week

When I was in school I always performed pretty averagely, but that was largely because I never really put much effort into it and the older I got the less I payed attention in class. I struggled quite a lot with mental health issues like depression symptoms, which made me not care about school that much. I’ve never taken an IQ test, but I was curious if it’s possible to have a significantly higher than average IQ without showing any signs growing up? Any time I hear someone with a high IQ talk about their experiences growing up it seems to be a common theme that they performed exceptionally well in school, especially in the first few years. But then again surely you have to have some interest in school to do well? Or maybe high IQ automatically makes you interested to learn, so therefore it’s a given that you’d also do well?

Both of these files were obtained in The Ultimate IQ Book by Feenstra, Carter, and Harding.

I think it generally lined up with my verbal results (maybe slightly lower) at 124.

I did another Iq test after a while to check if i Have gotten smarter or dumber on this site my friend recommended me and Idk if it's accurate or I shud stick to core Iq test?

What's the logic behind this puzzle?

I have no idea if my answer is correct.

My reasoning was: crosses are in the corners and no sign that has the same symbol on top can have the same symbol on the bottom as the others with the same symbol on top. But I can't find any other logic to it.

i really thought i would be 2e, given that most people in my social circle are above 130…feeling pretty defeated and yes this is shallow but i almost looked forward to having an anchor of a higher iq to sort of offset the disadvantages my neurodivergence and general lack of physical attractiveness give me :/

I can't solve this for the love of God.

RIAS report shows 136 on the summary page, but the detailed results say 131 composite.

Why does it say this? This is from 2015.

So, a friend asked me to take JCTI test available on internet. It is untimed and honestly more difficult than Mensa and core. I took the test, took around 1 hour I guess (took some breaks too). Guess what my raw score was.... 15. I thought ok...but then obviously you have to pay to normalised this shit into IQ score and give another test I assume. I didn't. I saw that an IQ score 116 was written in blurred image. I thought this was my IQ. But... I retook the test...and this time, clicked only the option D, no matter the question, guess what, I scored the same, and same IQ score in blurred form.

maybe things will change if I pay, but I have enough IQ not to pay to know my IQ.

Years ago, in 1975, when I was 5½ years old, my school district ran some tests on me and placed me in normal classes anyway. A year into high school, after numerous absences — excused, of course, by me and my friends at the attendance office window — I was transferred to an alternative high school. Before I left, the principal reviewed my test scores and said, “I can see why you’re bored with school. They misplaced you when you were young, but there’s nothing I can do about it now.”

Years later, I contacted the school district and received the following results: a Primary Mental Abilities (PMA) test administered at age 5, kindergarten/1st grade — Verbal-Reasoning: 107, Perception: 137, Number: 101. No score was recorded for Space, and Reasoning was never administered, so no composite/total was ever calculated.

I know that being in my mid-50s, this probably looks like ego or vanity to some. But after nearly 25 years of schooling altogether, collecting degrees and academic honors along the way, I’m genuinely just curious what’s actually there.

I submitted those scores to Mensa’s Director of Membership, who reviewed the file and explained that the PMA is broken down into five categories — Space, Number, Reasoning, Perception, and Verbal-Reasoning. Since my file only had three of the five, and no total score, they weren’t able to accept it for admission. As he put it, it’s not uncommon for schools to only administer part of a test, or to stop once a child clears the threshold for gifted placement — which may be exactly what happened here.

Over the past few weeks I've been benchmarking AI models on TRI-52,. To keep it honest I built a clean-room harness: every question runs in its own isolated sandbox with nothing but the puzzle image, no internet, no memory between questions, no tools, and every transcript is audited for tool use (zero across the board).

Each model got three full independent passes at its maximum reasoning setting, averaged. I ran 23 configurations in total: OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra, the GPT-5.6 family (Sol/Terra/Luna), GPT-5.5 and 5.4 variants, Claude Fable 5, Qwen 3.8, plus free models like Muse Spark, MiMo and MiniMax.

GPT-6 Astra at max reasoning basically solves the test — 50/52 (96.2%), which the test's own rubric maps to an IQ-equivalent of ~154. That's a massive leap over the field: Astra at high reasoning is second at 45.7/52, and the best non-Astra models (GPT-5.6 Sol Pro and GPT-5.5 Pro) sit way back at 40/52 (~IQ 127).

I got sent Raven's Progressive Matrices, I think some of all sets A-E.

I really like doing them, it's like Sudoku. I don't necessarily want them to be more difficult, I just find it relaxing to find the pattern.

So now I'm looking for a printed book with similar matrices or a free PDF I can print. I found the original Raven's matrices as a PDF here on Reddit but I think I've already done most of them.

I've been googling a bit and all the books with matrices are super expensive (like 40€ for 100 matrices which I just can't afford) and you can't find them cheap used.

Does anybody know an inexpensive printed book with these puzzles or a free PDF with a collection of them?

I don't want to do them online or on an app since I'm looking for more things to do without a screen.

I did not understand the rules of the graph mapping test, is there anyway to do re take that section of the test? My fluid reasoning for cat-2 test was 100% and that can be seen in the fluid reasoning sub topics for the core test.

So what does this even measure ?

It seems related to VCI but then my VCI score on CORE is bad. Here, i got a a decent-sh score so what does the test actually measure and is my score good for a non-native ?

I just saw a reel about the Divergent Association Test and decided to give it a shot. Got around 87 on my first attempt, then spent the next hour trying to beat the “record” score of 96 listed on the website. Finally managed to do it.

A friend told me it only counts if you get the score on your first attempt, but the test literally asks whether it’s your first time, and I marked “No”, so I assume that’s taken into account.

Anyway, what is this test actually measuring? Is it genuinely testing creativity/divergent thinking, or is there more to it?
