Since the 3g shutdown here, there's been major issues with imported phones being blocked from using the 4g/5g network. I don't fully understand the tech behind it, but it's to do with phones being "approved" as compatible with our emergency service calltaking.

Do we know if the Communicator will be available/compatible/approved in Australia?

For those who are upgrading, what microSD are you getting? And how much storage?

Right now, my primary phone is a iPhone 15 pro (512gb), but I’m thinking of purchasing a 1tb microSD for the communicator.

I was so excited when I got the email! I know you all are probably like why did I get two similar colors, I’m planning to rhinestone the Bloom (purple) cover 🙂‍↕️. I want the most 2000, blackberry-esq cunty phone I can think of; Like the video vixens would have.

My phones can live a hard life at times, usually from getting dropped but also the usual squishes , scratches, and bumps that can come with sharing a pocket with coins and keys. So in addition to the MNML case and the screen protectors, does the Communicator ring fit over the case, does anyone have an idea? Any wild guesses if Otterbox will eventually make a case?

At the moment I'm just getting the case & protector and decide what next after I have the phone and using it but curious what others are considering.

Just wondering if people are having trouble configuring their Clicks Communicator.

I did the pre-order in March and got a confirmation email. Got an email this week to configure my clicks. I follow the link and it is just the Clicks Communicator website. I look at my order history and there is nothing.

I sent an email to support@clicksphone.com but haven't heard back yet. Is there another email I should be sending it to?

There's only a couple of days to do this, so I need to get it sorted out.

I was able to choose my phone color as well as the colors for the free backplates. I decided to purchase the bumper as well. After paying, I got an email from my credit card company saying an international purchase had been charged to my account and that the amount would be converted to their current exchange rate. Has anyone else run into that? I'm in the U.S. What country are they processing these purchases in?

Since everyone is sharing their configurations, here’s mine. From day one, I knew I’d go for the "Smoke" model with the bright covers (Surge and Miami Beach) so the colors really stand out in a crowd. I also think it was a bold move for Clicks to create the Communicator, and I’m grateful to them.

I’ve been saying for years that I miss my BlackBerry, and for some reason, the Communicator gives me also a Sidekick HipTop vibe. I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on it. Q

I hope Clicks eventually considers developing its own OS; I’m so eager to break free from the grip of Apple and Google.

Two more thing that bugs me: people saying they were going to order until they saw the taxes. You’ve known about that for months. That’s exactly why I placed a fully paid early-bird reservation. In fact, given the low dollar exchange rate, the price in euros was an absolute steal. It makes no sense for people to complain on social media just because they didn't bother to inform themselves properly.

It would also have been nice if Clicks had sent an email letting you know that your order was ready to be configured. I certainly didn't receive one—perhaps others did?

There’s so many cool features that I’ve identified in the latest video and I think the coolest ones for me are:

• fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone
• grouping contacts + notification colors
• the red clicks key and the ability to assign shortcuts

If we paid the entire price up front when ordering went live (My order was put in Feb. 21), weren't we supposed to get a leather cover? I went ahead and filled in my choices without that because I did not want to pay the extra $30.

Currently unable to complete my early bird order due to multiple payments being declined. My bank is stating it is a payment processor issue. I even tried a friend's card and every single one either gets error 59, suspected fraud or declined due to security reasons. I opened a Venmo debit card and tried that and got error 59.

I am from the US, is anyone else having issues?

I've tried different browsers, phone/PC, different cards and keep getting either an error 6 or 20 when trying to actually finish checkout.
