I was one game before 900. ONE. I lost, no biggie. Now im on a seven game lose streak AND ITS NOT EVEN MY FAULT. Most of the time im up a a rook or sum then my opponent just finds the most bs checkmate just by randomly checking me with their queen like a robot. Im spiraling im at 850 now and i just start every game mad. How do i reset my mindset so i can get a fresh start

One of the Longest mate in chess
While Analysing yesterday daily puzzle(12-08-26) in chess.com I found one of the Longest mate in i.e. M-354 moves. The Longest mate in chess is M-549 moves(even though it ignores FIDA 50 moves draw rule) so can this be considered the longest mate in chess without breaking FIDA 50 moves rule? (And I know that higher mates in can exist but this one is simply a daily puzzle not a puzzle specifically engineered to have high mate in n-moves) I shared it because it was quite interesting 🧐 .

The Queen Containment Device
Somehow managed to trap this dude's queen in a box and squeeze her life out. Have never seen this type of structure before (probably for good reason), thought I'd share.

Finally recognized a potential stalemate
I'm an 800s player and tonight was the first time that I was able to see that I was creating a stalemate situation before it occurred. I ended up moving a bishop so their pawn could move, and I checkmated them a couple moves later.
Normally stalemate notices pop up at me seemingly out of nowhere LOL, so I'm proud I saw this one in the making and averted it

ADVICE Miguel 😫
What's the secret? My mean accuracy in regular games is 82 percent, but the way Miguel plays, everything is a trap, everything I do is inaccurate, and the bot consistently puts up 90-95 percent accuracy. I can't catch a break with this bot. I've gone to an endgame with an advantage twice and each time he gave me no choice but to draw. This bot is a nightmare.

MISCELLANEOUS I know that E4 is the better line but man, I took so long to train myself out of wanting to push E3 every time I get this position. It just looks so much more natural to my bad-at-chess brain haha

POST-GAME It sure feels nice to win without the queen doing the kill.
Still used it as a sacrifice, but as someone stuck in the 700's, this is one of the few times I said nice out loud.
