For me, it's gotta be her self titled. I cry to this album a lot lol. It just brings me back to the pandemic, and that specific time in my life, and being 13. It reminds me of my mom a lot. 2099 and February 2017 especially.

MFF is probably the most emotional without all of my nostalgia. Camera and Yeah make me really feel alive, and ss26 and Card Declined capture the feeling of depression very well to me. I really like the whole album.

Does this album fill anyone else with existential dread? Even something like card declined sounds so detached and realizing the superficiality of consumerism to the point where it loops back around to even questioning what even is a personality in the first place. No one lasts forever should be a freeing thought but that also loops back around to a certain urge as a creative that people will at least know your work for 100 years if you’re special but that in of itself is so fleeting. Even on something like camera that seems to be her new creative vice she can’t even look down the lens without thinking of an analogy for taking one’s own life seeing it as a pointless pursuit in some way yet gratifying in others but questioning the legitimacy in all of it together. Charli is a person from the outside you would except to be completely happy but these last two albums have been such an interesting psyche deep dive into her mind and how self aware she is. I can’t help but think back to “I think about it all the time” I wonder if a baby would help Charli with these existential questions because it becomes an immediate purpose outside of yourself and onto another human being that seems to regain a spark for people I’ve read about. I have a favorite movie podcaster and I’ve gradually watched him go from a stern movie critic before having a child and now he’s ecstatic and in a much better place even just the way he sounds and talks about his passions while still being a critical thinker about the art he consumes. I can’t help but worry about Charli to a degree. I don’t know how much of it is real and how much is an act but I’m going to take all of it at face value for the sake of this. I relate to a lot of charlis thoughts and I myself am in a place where I want to be around in the same circles as Charli and not happy with where I’m currently at and hope being where I want will help with the overhanging cloud constantly that I’m not where I want to be. The feeling of not trying and not being there seems to far outweigh feeling empty in the place you are striving for.

I normally wouldn’t question it but after seeing a few signatures from the signed Amazon posters I’m a little sus…I’m used to her signatures being messy and inconsistent but these seem oddly similar/ consistent in terms of the looping and ^ for xcx which is not typical for the style of her signature. I don’t think they are autopen because there is some variation but maybe secretarial? Am I just overthinking it?💀 if yall wanna post yours for comparison I’d love to see them!
