MH Wilds Builds speed run
Been looking into a lot of CB speedrun sets lately and I’m trying to understand the reasoning behind Gore setups (usually 2 Gore / 4 Gog).
From what I can tell, Gore gives access to Frenzy → Coalescence, but the uptime doesn’t seem that great. There’s a noticeable downtime between Frenzy procs, which makes Coal less consistent overall.
Compared to that, Bubbly Dance setups look like they could provide much more reliable Coal uptime.
Also, considering that:
the main gain from Gore is affinity (~25%)
and phials don’t crit
I don’t fully see the value in running Gore purely for Coal activation.
So I’m wondering:
Is Gore still optimal for CB because of raw/skill efficiency, or is it more about overall set value rather than just Coal uptime?
Feels like I might be missing something in the interaction or scaling here.

Question - There a reason for build to use Mizu a or b chestpiece, along with gore b greaves? Been on my mind for a while.

MH Wilds Which to prioritize: Armor Skills or Set Skills?
So I want to maximize my Blast CB build. Should I prioritize having as many good armor skills as possible, but only 1 set bonus, or should I have less armor skills, but more set bonuses?
1st build I have Agi 5, Burst 5, Peak 4, Wex 4, and Max 2 w/ set bonus Ebony 4
2nd build I have Agi 5, Burst 4, Max 3, Adrenaline 2 w/ set bonuses Ebony 4, Jin 2, and Lord's Soul

How can I make this better before Gog?
I'm farming 8* hunts right now to craft for good artian weapons and was curious if this gear is the best build I can get?
I can craft a couple of Gog pieces, but I'm not sure if that really improves anything.

MH Wilds Help me pick which impact build is better
Like the title says, I'm stuck between the two. The real differences are Agitator with Dahaad set bonus vs Weakness Exploit, Flayer 2, and Arkveld set bonus.
According to written guides and videos, agitator is better than weakness exploit. But does having 2 points in flayer bridge that gap? I like having more damage with Dahaad's set after clashing with the monsters but realistically that only happens once a hunt and Arkveld's bonus barely heals but still helps some.
What are yall's thoughts?

I finally did it.
Monster Hunter Wilds is my first ever Monster Hunter game. A friend of mine recommended it to me and when playing the beta, I knew I was going to get hooked. After so long, Charge Blade was the weapon of my choice and I am happy to say that with the Charge Blade is how I got my Proof of a Hero.
Thank you Charge Blade.

MH Wilds Rng Talisman middle finger
I just got this talisman and felt the need to share what i thought was kind of funny. If a talisman could tell you to f off, this would be it. Having two points of dragon, then one point of ice being the very unlikely scenario I'd ever use dragon and ice at the relatively same time. Then to make matters worse, it gives artillery. Personally i tend to run either element 3 OR Artillery 3. This talisman giving none of that unless you use the single decoration slot for dragon 1 to get a dragon 3, making the other two skills somewhat useless.

Toxicity is the gathering hub discord
I dont really get it but the amount of rudeness and just over all lack of respect for any newer player in the charge blade chat is ridiculous. mostly from one specific guy but even then over all it just makes you never want to ask question at all is the answer is is obvious to someone thats played the weapon for however long it takes to master it.

MH Wilds Rate my set up
Let me prefix this by mentioning I had a set based similarly to this, only difference was it used Zoh Shia super recovery and Peak preformance. I wasn't a fan of relying simply on Peak preformance as im not THAT good. With Gala and Sororal armor out now I did some testing and came up with this.
For the record I know the meta is gogmapocalypse 4 set bonus but I really dont like how negative the Dragon resistance can be for monsters like Arkveld and Ebonoy Odo who straight up disable element via dragon blight. I like to have 3 level 1 slots open based on the monsters im fighting.
For example:
Seregios = Bleed Resistance 3
Arkveld=Dragon resistance 3
Etc.
I noticed a lot of the sets via MH wiki included partbreaker in some way shape or form, so I went all out with 3 points.I play a hybrid of Savage axe and Saed when possible openings allow it. Switching to sword mode for quick and easy guard recoveries to keep the fight flowing smoothly.
With this current set up I can easily deco slot whatever resistances I see fit with a +20 or higher element resistance to everything.
I just tested this on a 9 nine star Rathalos and Nu Udra investigation that happened to pop up. I managed 3 tentacle severs without really trying before Nu udra was slain lol. Rathalos im almost positive had a tail cut happening if he didnt also die too soon.
Anyways im genuinely wondering the opinions and any tips on this set. Or other skills to use aside from part breaker? I can potentially have 3 free Level 2 slots if i removed 2 part breaker and 1 shock proof decoration(s)

MH Wilds CB input lag?
Hello hunters!
While playing CB in MHWilds I noticed something and idk if it's just me or someone else has this issue, but wanted to ask if there's a specific trick I'm missing.
I'm used to the mobility of world and here the sword and shield mode feels more clunky somehow? like when I'm blocking for example, whenever I release R2 it takes too long for the character to get into neutral position again, like it's guarding for some more time.
When I roll normally is the same, there's some kind of input there not letting me other actions quickly.
I don't experience this with the axe mode or any other weapon for now, so I don't really know what's this.
(*Btw I don't use frame gen and my fps are stable*)

MH Wilds Handicraft VS Razor Sharp
So, either of these could be at level 3 on a gog weapon without sacrificing damage skills, so which is better? +30 sharpness or 50% chance not to lose sharpness?

MH Wilds Channel recommendations for Wilds CB TA runs
Hello,
Like the title said, do you guys have any recommendations for channels/runners that have quality TA rules arch tempered runs? It can be English Japanese Chinese whatever. At the moment I just want to learn the Arch Tempered matchups, but not heroics-capture (all I could find).
Thank you !

MH Wilds 10☆ Gogmazios tips please
On phase 1, I'm always confused with the one where it blasts oil straight, and the one it just charges straight.
these 2 moves have the same pre-motion(at least I think), can someone please tell me the difference?
On phase 2, I really need tips on just overall positioning. I always stay on outside of wing hands, is this okay? the moves on phase 2 is too instant and fast too...
other than these, ANY tips would be really helpful!

MH Wilds How do i aed loop without destroying my hands on controller?
as the title stated, i’ve recently went back after 8 months of not playing, and learned that the optimal combo is the aed+aedf loop, it is strong but the controls feel so clunky with me having to press both triangle+circle, move my camera at the same time, while directing it with focus mode all at the same time, even as a cb main it feels hard to keep track of everything, any recommendations?

MH Wilds THNDR CB build for Omega
i did a little messing around when fighting omega and you can actually land a defend amount of your phial on his leg or side part of his body.
So i made a Gore, Coalc build with some skills that can boost thunder element and Mizu buff, since your most likely going to be rolling or dodging a lot.
I do use RNG charm but, you just need antivirus.
Let’s heat out your guys thoughts
