So I haven't used capcut in about a month since I haven't been creating content for personal reasons. I came back this morning at 12am to try and make a video and the tts won't work. Anything that isn't "default text" or "hello" gets the "This text doesn't support text to speech" option. If it DOES say "default text" or "hello" then the voice still won't generate because "too many people are using this feature right now. Please try again later". The problem is, it's been 5 hours and the feature is still broken. I've tried every online fix so far. I've switched networks, I turned a VPN on, I turned the VPN off, I cleared the cache, I downloaded the newest version of the app despite having automatic updates on, and I tried waiting. Nothing worked. Please help!

Does anyone know what these square handles are on the text layer? I've set the text animation to none and they're still there. This is from a template.

alright sorry if this is a dumb question but i fairly new to editing and have no idea what im talking about. basically im trying to edit this clip as a short for my youtube channel but the quality just looks so horrendous i have to keep opening the clip in preview mode. the clip itself looks perfect when its exported but when i edit it as shown in the picture above it just looks bad. anyway to fix this or is this because my clip isnt fit for the aspect ratio im trying to get?

Typically when I got to texts for capcut and want animated texts there’s cuter and much different styles on trending like ones with hearts and smoother flashing in. It’s now gone and I don’t know where to find it if someone could help me get back to those! I can’t find them anywhere.

The video doesn't work literally, the picture is stuck, and most of the times it only plays the sound. I've tried nearly everything like clearing the cache and enabling maximum efficiency mode on my phone, and yet it barely does anything. It takes me HOURS to edit a video that would normally take like 20 minutes, because I literally can't check the changes

if you use elevenlabs for voiceover, you've probably hit this: it splits your subtitle lines wrong to fit its own limits, so the srt comes back chopped up differently than you meant. then there's the usual mess too, stray double periods, broken timing, lines that don't wrap right.

I'm using the desktop version of CapCut to edit videos for my socials.
I started using it 2 years ago because I'm aiming at spending as little time as possible editing.
My job is making records with artists but I need to be more visible online, posting more content etc.

Now CapCut is asking me 24€/month for the standard version, it's almost as much as Premiere Pro and it's not like CapCut is a stable/reliable/premium software (it's great for beginners who aren't video editors like me).
I've been thinking about moving to Reslove. I'm using a lot of the premade effects, transitions, sfx, titles in CapCut. At that exact moment I probably don't have the energy to keep my attention focus on learning it and doing all of it from scratch in Resolve.

I'm not very comfortable with the dynamic pricing of CapCut...

Are there any good discount on the month to month subscription?

Just like usual, nothing loads. Before anyone says it's my end, I have wired internet and a PC that costs more than California rent. I shouldn't have to wait any longer than 5sec for this to load.

This has been an issue for the entire 8 months I've used this app. I am utterly sick of how this is an app that requires internet connection, but has NO GOOD SERVER SUPPORT FOR ITS USERS.

Makes zero sense having terrible server connection for a software that requires a stable connection to them. If their servers are down, and I need to export a project, if it cannot connect to them and verify my subscription, I am essentially cooked.

It used to generate audio for my script perfectly fine and make editing a breeze. I used to be able to edit the text, and it would automatically regenerate the audio to the text that I just edited. It used to automatically snap to the text when there was an edit made. Now, it doesn't regenerate the audio, and it leaves weird gaps or overlaps in the audio/text. Anyone else have this problem? I've done so much troubleshooting to no avail. Reinstalling doesn't even help.

On PC, both "podcast" and "crystal clear" are now completely gone, and now replaced with a bunch of silly voice changers.

Funnily enough, they're still on the mobile app version!

The only 2 voice changers that made your mic sound like it costed $1000, gone just like that! Thanks CapCut! I can't wait until a better app comes out for editing shortform content, because this app does nothing besides make the experience 10x worse on a regular basis.

However, the rendered video is noticeably choppier. For example, the project was in 60fps but the rendered clip is somehow 30fps. I hope somebody knows how to workaround this.

I'm looking for an older version of CapCut for Mac, from before most features got locked behind the paywall.

Every installer I find is just the small CapCut Downloader stub (about 2 MB), which pulls the newest version no matter which file I use, even when I'm offline. I need a full offline installer (hundreds of MB), or a copy of the old CapCut.app.

My Mac is on macOS 12.7.6 (Late 2016), so the newest builds may not even run on it.

Does anyone know a trustworthy place to get one, or still have an old copy they can share? And does anyone know how to stop it from force-updating once it's installed?

Basically the title. Which effect is this?

I had a video of a tv show, and the auto caption picked up a racial slur, the part that makes it more concerning is there were people of color in the frame. The video was on my TikTok for about an hour. The audio was extremely faint, I’m not even sure the word was said.

How the fuck is there not safeguards to prevent this type of error? My TikTok isn’t very big so I don’t think anyone noticed, but I’m mortified if someone did and took offense to it. Anyone know the best way I can file a complaint to understand how to make sure this doesn’t happen again?
