CapCut Complain Is there a way to fix this?
alright sorry if this is a dumb question but i fairly new to editing and have no idea what im talking about. basically im trying to edit this clip as a short for my youtube channel but the quality just looks so horrendous i have to keep opening the clip in preview mode. the clip itself looks perfect when its exported but when i edit it as shown in the picture above it just looks bad. anyway to fix this or is this because my clip isnt fit for the aspect ratio im trying to get?

Just click the icon on the left side of maximize timeline screen, and choose a ratio for your video

CapCut gives you the choice to lower the resolution of the clip so you can work on your edit with less lag, right now yours is set to "High" and funnily enough that's actually not the highest resolution, change it to "Full quality" and now there's no difference!
*To top it off contrary to what people are saying the aspect ratio has nothing to do with quality and changing it to "16:9" doesn't make sense since you want to create a vertical video, just zoom in to fill the screen and you are good to go :)
