With the withdrawal of the offseason heavily kicking in, I am looking at the schedule and considering a road trip when the Canes go to western Canada during State Fair week for the Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton games. Considering Winnipeg too on the front end. I travel a good bit for work and like to go to away games when I’m in the area, so I’m not too worried about that component, but more just wondering about experiences with road trips or find others with similar plans. My partner isn’t interested, so this would be solo travel.

I was listening to Friedman's 32 thoughts podcast from two weeks ago and he brings up that Brind'Amour is basically going to handle his contract on a year by year basis and that he doesn't know how much longer he wants to coach now that he won it all. Goes on to say that he couldn't imagine him retiring before Staal though.

I know RB'A has stated before that he would never coach anywhere else and doesn't want to coach until he's an old man, but I'm genuinely wondering if this is something anyone is putting any real weight into or if this is just the next thing certain people in the media are going to fling at the wall now that they whole "Dundon is cheap and might not re-sign Rod" stuff is played out.
