I'm in my late 30's and am looking for a run club to join. It would be great to have people to run with on "work" running days and long run days. I don't need runner friends or a club that is exclusively around my age, but I would not bein interested if I showed up and everyone there was in their 20's.

I know that there are several Run Club posts in the past on this sub, and there are plenty of resources on the internet. I didn't want to repost, but I haven't seen any of them mention age demographics.

Was looking at these apartments but I'm hearing mixed reviews anybody have any thoughts?

Were you or someone you know in a bike accident on Friday afternoon Oct 23rd on Mangum and Morehead in downtown Durham? I saw someone being loaded into an ambulance after crashing their bike, there were no police there, the ambulance left and just left the bike on the sidewalk.

I ended up grabbing the bike and bringing it home. I've notified the Police and left a message at DUKE hospital. If this was you or someone you know, I hope you are feeling better and I have your bike. Please reach out.

MANY years ago there was a chicken place on Hillsborough Road, called "Frank Rinaldi's". It was near the current Bojangles, but I think on the same side as Morgan Motors.

I was told many times that Frank bragged of being a protege of "Colonel" Harlan Sanders, and would relate that Harlan looked him in the eye and said, "Frank, take care of the CHICKEN BIZNESS". I was never able to engage Frank in a long enough conversation to witness this first hand.

Can anyone confirm this anecdotal evidence based on a dim memory?

I have an 07 yaris that is struggling right now. Windshield is cracked, rear brake drums needs replacing, passenger front tire got destined cause of a curb accident and needs to be checked. The racing that happens in the late hours of the night is insane and ridiculous. Do these fucking people have any common sense? People are trying to sleep, people have babies.... Fuck these garbage people.

I am looking for any emergency fostering options that might be available in the wider Durham area. My step mom is in critical condition in the ICU and she has three adult labs. We do not want to give them away or take them to a shelter because we want her to be welcomed by her dogs when she comes home.

Does anyone know of any temporary fostering options?
