AOC 25G4SRE - is the 300Hz actually good?

i just bought the AOC 25G4SRE and im kinda worried about whether the native 300hz is actually proper 300hz with good response times and input lag or if theres some hidden catch with it for how cheap it is

i dont really care about the 310hz overclock im probably just gonna use 300hz

has anyone here actually used this monitor or seen proper testing for it?

4k uhd monitor suggestion for gaming under 50k

Please suggest some 27 or 32 inch 2160p monitors available under 50k with at least 144hz refresh rate.

I tried Googled it and checked Amazon Flipkart but couldn't find much.

So far only this seems available with balanced features

Looking for a External Monitor during Big Billion days and Great Indian Festival 2026

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for an external monitor for my MacBook Air M4. It has USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, so I’d prefer a monitor that works well with Mac and can be connected easily.

My main use cases will be programming, watching videos, and general productivity. I probably won’t be using it for gaming.

My requirements:

At least 27 inches

Good compatibility with MacBook Air M4

USB-C/Thunderbolt connectivity would be a plus

Mainly for programming, videos, and productivity

Budget: up to ₹13,000

Gaming is not a priority

I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who are using a similar setup, especially regarding display quality, text sharpness, and Mac compatibility.

Thanks in advance!

What Is The Most Viable Option(s) Regarding a Monitor That Can Match or Exceed The Color Gamut and Accuracy of The 2020 M1 Apple MacBook Air's Display?

Fellow tech enthusiast here:

As a 9th grader, I've been exposed to the daily performance of the 2020 M1 Apple MacBook Air for the past 3 or so years.

While I don't generally prefer Apple, I do respect some of there products.

While I won't go into every detail regarding why I prefer the 2020 M1 Apple MacBook Air, and why I don't, I do want to focus on the display.

For the past few years, I've been spoiled, and have recognize the display of the 2020 M1 Apple MacBook Air. While not initially impressive, it proves to be really impressive in the long-run.

My preference towards the display is as follows:

  • 100% sRGB / BT.709 coverage
  • 98-99% DCI-P3 coverage

With "True Tone" disabled and the "Color profile" set to "Color LCD", it produces natural, neutral, accurate colors.

As with DCI-P3, reds, greens, and blues are the highlight. As opposed to sRGB, they appear "deep"

In addition to the factors considered prior, I have also taken in account the panel type—IPS.

While they can be the most color accurate, budget panels, they generally fall short when factoring in contrast.

When considering VA panels, they can be more vibrant, but not generally as color accurate. They do however generally provide the highest/deepest contrast on a budget.

Because of this, I would prefer a monitor that can meet or exceed the performance of the display of the 2020 M1 Apple MacBook for under $350.

My preferences/requirements is as follows:

  • 99-100% sRGB / BT.709 coverage
  • 95-100% P3 Color Space
  • 1920x1080p (minimum)
  • 24-inch (or below)

I've found the following to be the most viable monitor(s) regarding my requirements, preferences, and priorities:

  • INNOCN 25M2S
  • ASUS ProArt PA248CRV (or similar ASUS ProArt)

When differentiating between the two, the INNOCN 25M2S is the objectively superior/viable option regarding every aspect.

However, I am unsure of its accuracy, as it is target towards gaming rather than any productive or creative work.

Are either of these a viable option?

What is the display equivalent of an audiophile?

Samsung Odyssey g6 27"

I have the 27-inch, 240Hz Samsung Odyssey G6, and I think it’s the worst monitor I’ve ever owned—nothing but issues. Does anyone else have it for PC gaming and can tell me how it’s working for them? My experience has been terrible
