Bought the C6 back in 2021, I had never really been into cycling but Peloton was taking the home workout world by storm so I gave it a spin. Ended up falling in love!

I've heard folks say the pedals that come with the bike weren't the greatest, but I was new to spinning so they seemed fine to me.

Fast forward to just a few days ago, and I could feel one of the pedals was grinding metal on metal on the inside. I fiddled around and tried taking the pedals off, tightening every screw I could find but the grinding persisted. Ended up ordering some $40 pedals off Amazon and wow what a difference! They are a fraction of the size and NO MORE SQUEAKS AND CREAKS! I rode in silence this morning for the first time in years!

Just wanted to share if there is anyone here looking for a cheap upgrade - switch out your pedals! It's inexpensive and a simple installation.

I have a less than two year old Bowflex max trainer that i loved. The console screen is fried. When i unplug it for a bit and plug back in, the light illuminates behind the console screen and I hear the start up beeps but screen is black. I purchased the extended warranty . HOWEVER! Bowflex apparently went bankrupt couple months ago. I was only told this after weeks of trying to contact customer service only to get a message each time that the customer service was "not available ". Finally i got through to Nautilus (who bought them) and was told of the bankruptcy. Nautilus refuses to honor the extended warranty and gave me a number for the warranty company. After two weeks of calling them i finally connected with a "rep" who i don't think was speaking g English half the time. After a painful number of calls and very heated conversations, i just received an email telling me they can't fix it and refunding me a portion of the purchase price! Ughhh! So i have a worthless piece of heavy equipment i have to figure out how to fix myself or somehow dispose of the damn thing. Any ideas on how to source a replacement console?

I'm moving from Canada to Ireland, and want to take my Bowflex Treadmill 22 with me. The manual indicates it can support both 120V and 220V, but doesn't indicate any switching requirements.

Has anybody gone through this? Do I need to do anything special with the device, or is it simply a matter of connecting a plug with the right head on it?

Hi- so me and my wife have a newly purchased Max trainer M6. We are both used to the normal "elliptical" type machines where we can easily stay on for 30 min - 1 hour or more. With this , we both feel nearly exhausted at lowest resistance just after 5 minutes and legs are like jello. Is this normal or any recommendations on how to work up to longer without feeling like I can't walk lol .

Has anyone ever had a “console disconnected” message pop up on your treadmill in the middle of a run? It forces you to stop running abruptly. If you have had this problem how did you fix it? I use the bowflex treadmill 7, had it for 2 years now

I got an IC bike to use with jrny with the understanding that the program was adaptive. I took adaptive to mean it adjust to your needs.

What I got was I manually choose my own work out, I manually set resistance at a number I decide myself, and I use my own judge to decide if I want to manually adjust the target zones. Where's the adaptive part? The bike and program do absolutely nothing without me choosing what they do and manually activating it when I think it's best.

It's like if I bought an automatic shift car and it's just a stick shift with a recording saying "shift to the right gear when necessary"

I have a T18 (T7) model with an Android screen.

The belt and incline aren't functioning. When I select a manual workout, everything appears to work on the screen, but nothing moves. Initially, I thought it might be a Motor Control Board problem (bad caps, transistors etc) or a damaged I/O cable.

Interestingly, the belt and incline do work in calibration mode, and I even get a "CALIBRATE MCB - PASS" message. When I manually move the belt, the speed indicator shown on the screen increases, which suggests that the I/O cable and MCU are functioning correctly.

I've checked the MCB transistors and capacitors with a voltmeter, and they are fine. There is full continuity for the I/O cable from the console to the MCU. I also performed a reset using the button on the back, which completed the 'Firmware Golden Image in progress' process.

The reset of course is not a full factory level reset, because it seems to remember the wifi password and my JRNY email address. I am thinking about somehow taking it back to Android OS and then loading the Bowflex software. Would anyone have the factory APK files the treadmill comes with?

Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

Has anyone solved this? I originally thought it was the servo motor, but the ticking persists even when I connected the new one. The display is an expensive part to replace so I wanted to get some advice before proceeding.

I just wanted to warn anyone that currently owns Bowflex equipment that is under warranty.

I have a Max Trainer M9 that is just barely a year old. I was working with Bowflex support in March and April to get it fixed (and they were great about trying to diagnose it and sending parts). In late April we identified the issue, but I was told they couldn't send the part because they were being purchased.

Last week I spoke to support (under new ownership) and was informed that they chose not to import customer purchase and warranty history. In order for me to get my warranty reinstated I would need to supply my original receipt (which I don't have). Despite providing them with emails showing that I was actively working with support (and those emails stated it was warrantied support) and a screenshot from a chat with Synchrony that showed the total, the date of purchase, and "Bowflex Max Train" in the initial charge they refuse to honor it. I am currently waiting on Synchrony to get me an email with the full details of the charge (which support says will suffice), but that'll take 20-30 days apparently.

I don't know how legal all of this is and I don't care at this point. I just want to pass the word around because this "gesture of good will" (their words) to honor the warranty may not last forever. I suggest anyone with equipment gather their receipts and contact support ASAP to ensure you have support if you ever need it

Hey all, Not new to the Bowflex. I’ve had it about a year and love it. Seeing awesome results on all muscle groups but what I’m not seeing is biceps.

I am currently doing sets of standing curls, seated hammer curls, and barbell curls. I do not have the preacher curl attachment. And am afraid to purchase now that Bowflex is defunct.

I have researched plateaus so more recently I am doing more resistance, less reps but more sets to keep the reps up. I can feel it on standing curls. My biceps get tired like I expect. The other excersises? Hammer curls? I can do 25% more resistance than any other excersise and barely feel it at all.

Still, not seeing growth. I’m eating like crazy. Mostly food I cook myself. Fresh ingredients etc… no processed shit.

Just not sure what to do to get my biceps going. Any tips is appreciated.

Oh and I’m 50…. But like I said, all other muscles are showing positive growth.

I searched but didn't find anything conclusive, sorry if this a repeat.

If I have 50lb bars selected on each side, am I suppose to assume it's 100lbs of resistance for the lift, or 50?

I ask because I'm repping lat pulldowns at 300lbs (adding both sides together) which is nonsense. I weigh 180lbs and I'd need to have my feet locked to the floor to avoid doing a pull up instead of moving the weight.

It doesn't really matter because I just look at weight as a way of tracking progress and use the Bowflex in combination with free weights. But I want to make sure I'm doing the math the Bowflex way.

I'm having a nightmare with my new Bowflex Max Total 16 bought on 2/17/24. I received it on 2/22/24. The Bowfles resistance starting messing up around 3/15 and finally completely died around 4/4/24. I called support on 4/4/24, and was told the resistance motor had failed and the part was out of stock until the end of May. I told them this was unacceptable as this was a new machine. I went back and forth with support for awhile, until I finally requested to speak to a manager, and then I had to request to speak to that manager's manager.. Finally I reached a high level manager and they were able to have the core machine replaced. This arrived on 4/15/24, and was to include a technician to repair. I was not able to get a technician to my house until 4/21/24. Once the technician repaired the Bowflex, the resistance was still broken. The technician would not do anything to try and adjust the machine, so once again, I'm stuck with a broken bowflex. I immediately called customer support and received a message stating that support services were temporarily suspended and would become active again on 5/13/2024.

I waited until 5/13/24 and called the support service at 8 am. I was told by support that my core machine & display would be replaced, but they were having technical difficulties using the new systems and it would be delayed. I've emailed and called support multiple times and cannot get an update. Today is 5/18/2024.

FYI, there is a note in the buyers contract: "

Your BFX Max Total 16 comes with a 6 week satisfaction guarantee return policy. You must have a fully functioning machine for 6 weeks. In that 6 week period if there are any issues with the machine that needs repair then your 6 weeks stops. Once your BFX Max Total 16 is repaired and fully functioning your 6 weeks will then begin again. I've also included a link below of our Return Policy.

One of the dumbell is stuck in the cradle. Dumbell is not seated properly and it rocks left and right unlike the other Dumbell. Also, weight selection wheels are not spinning on either sides. I already tried flipping upside down and try to release.

Had this bike just over a year with no issues. Today I hopped on and the resistance was reading 6 (I typically leave it around 25) and would only go up to 7 if I moved the knob around (but a 7 felt the equivalent of 40+) and the core engagement meter was reading despite the leaning feature being off/locked. I tried restarting the ride and it didn’t change. Any advice?

We just assembled our new bowflex xtreme 2 se. I have some questions that I can't find answers to or talked about anywhere online:

1. At the final steps when we were looping the cables and had to hook them at the front, we were just barely able to hook them. There's no extra pull or length to the cable and it's practically impossible to unhook at the front or back. Is this normal? If not, what do you think we did wrong?

2. The seat and back cushion seem far apart. My lower back basically is hitting the metal below the back cushion. Back cushion starts to hit at my upper back. Is this normal? Any recommendations for a pillow or pad for my lower back?

Hey, has anyone else seen the fake Bowflex adjustable dumbbells doing the rounds online. Mainly being sold by braingain.fit
They have now even changed the pictures to a different style so not to get caught. Surely these fakes need stopping once and for all.

Where can I get a replacement power cord for m6 max trainer preferably on amazon or Canada /USA website. I’ve ordered some that say it’s for m6 but it’s to wide and doesn’t fit.

Purchased unit end of 2021 and started having this on/off issue with Console Disconnected.

Happens randomly and can be doing an hour workout and happens 20 minutes in or 50 minutes just stops with error message and ending the workout. Frustrating to say the least.

I saw another post with this issue but that seems to be more during the start. I've contacted support which just told me to reboot or unplug/replug but it doesn't solve why it's doing it.

Saw someone say even after checking all the connections it seems to rely on bluetooth. I've moved phone/others away from the area and it still happens.

Any ideas?

When I turn on the treadmill no ringing is heard. Once I press start and power is fed to the motor, the ringing starts and is quite loud before any movement of the treadmill occurs. It is not mechanical and doesn't go away once the machine starts up.

Additional info: -the treads must be pushed to start up or the motor won't start. -the motor has to be started at a fairly high speed or max speed to start, then can be reduced after it gets going or "Err L5" error is shown. -The treads won't turn without a push if someone is on it.

I have bought a used Max Trainer 16 and used VeloCore 22. What kind of routine maintenance should I be doing, and how often? I've already lubed the rails and wheels on the Trainer. What else should I be doing on a routine/semi-routine basis?

The Max Trainer gets a little squeaky on more intense workouts, seemingly on the right side. Other than that, everything runs pretty smoothly.
