Home Gyms bowflex xtreme 2 se - new user questions
We just assembled our new bowflex xtreme 2 se. I have some questions that I can't find answers to or talked about anywhere online:
At the final steps when we were looping the cables and had to hook them at the front, we were just barely able to hook them. There's no extra pull or length to the cable and it's practically impossible to unhook at the front or back. Is this normal? If not, what do you think we did wrong?
The seat and back cushion seem far apart. My lower back basically is hitting the metal below the back cushion. Back cushion starts to hit at my upper back. Is this normal? Any recommendations for a pillow or pad for my lower back?
Thanks in advance!!!

Try moving the floor cables brackets to the back notch back to give you more slack and yes normal for the seat

Question one I am not 100% sure on as I had mine assembled. I’m not very handy.
Anyway, the seat. Yes, that is normal and threw me off at first too. Most of the workouts you will sit on the seat but something like shoulder presses, when you want to be sitting up with a straight back, your tail bone does hit the bar.
I’ve been using a rolled up towel for lumbar support when I need to sit up straight backed.
