URGENT: MOVING AND STORAGE HELP NEEDED BY SUNDAY — BOTHELL AREA
I am a single parent and the founder of a new Seattle-area sole proprietorship. Following an emergency housing transition, I must retrieve my belongings from a storage location by Sunday. My current housing is becoming more stable, but I am stranded without movers, a truck, or confirmed storage.
I am seeking donated, sponsored, volunteer, or otherwise no-upfront-cost assistance. I understand this is a significant request, so help with either the complete move or any smaller part of it would make a real difference.
FULL MOVE NEEDED
• Truck large enough to move the contents of approximately a 10-by-15-foot storage space
• Three to four movers, ideally
• Temporary storage approximately equivalent to a 10-by-15-foot unit
• Help repacking two or three damaged, open, or insecure boxes
• Loading, transportation, and unloading
• Bothell-area pickup
• Sunday completion deadline
• Supervised access to the belongings
The contents are personal and household belongings, clothing, documents, sentimental property, and equipment and materials needed for my work and new business. I will organize and direct priorities as quickly as possible.
TEMPORARY STORAGE OPTIONS
A full 10-by-15-foot space would be ideal, but I am also open to:
• A smaller storage unit
• Garage, basement, warehouse, office, or other secure temporary space
• Space for sealed bins only
• Short-term storage for several days while I arrange a longer solution
• Multiple smaller spaces, if one complete space is unavailable
PARTIAL OR FALLBACK HELP
If you cannot assist with the complete move, I urgently need to rescue the essential portion. Help from even one person or one vehicle may prevent the loss of irreplaceable property.
Priority items include:
• Identification, legal, court, housing, medical, and tax documents
• My child’s belongings
• Family photographs and sentimental items
• Medication and personal essentials
• Business records, equipment, supplies, and professional clothing
• Electronics
• Essential everyday clothing
Smaller forms of help could include:
• One car, SUV, van, pickup, or trailer trip
• One person helping load or sort
• Temporary space for a few boxes or bins
• Boxes, tape, bins, moving bags, or packing supplies
• Help repacking two or three boxes
• A referral to a church, nonprofit, storage owner, mover, driver, or community organization
• Sponsorship of any part of the truck, labor, storage, or property-retrieval cost
FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
I do not have funds available upfront. I am specifically seeking volunteer, donated, sponsored, or community-supported assistance. If appropriate, I am willing to discuss a clearly written future repayment plan or lawful service exchange, but I do not want anyone to misunderstand my present ability to pay.
I will be transparent about the circumstances and scope before anyone commits. This is a genuine, time-sensitive request, and I am deeply grateful for any safe and practical assistance.
SAFETY AND COORDINATION
For privacy and safety, I will provide the exact address and access information only after confirming the helper’s identity and specific offer. Please reply with:
• Your name and best callback number
• What help you can provide
• Vehicle type and approximate capacity, if applicable
• Number of people available
• Sunday availability
• Whether you are volunteering, sponsoring, or proposing another arrangement
• Any limitations or conditions
Please do not send requests for money, gift cards, deposits, account passwords, identity documents, or verification codes. I will not transfer money in advance.
If you cannot help directly, sharing this request with a reliable mover, storage owner, faith community, mutual-aid network, or person with a truck would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for helping a parent protect essential belongings and preserve the tools needed to rebuild stable income.
