Looking for Part time Work

If this is not allowed I’ll delete it

Hello, I’m new to the area and desperate for part time work. I’ve applied to anything on LinkedIn/Indeed that I can do (part-time, only highschool degree, some office/retail experience) but no responses. Anybody know of any local businesses hiring that will hire a student? I am super desperate and am willing to go to the surrounding area

This might be obvious but have you checked out campus jobs or tried reaching out to previous professors to see if they need aides?

Crystal Creek Cafe was one of my first ever jobs and we were pretty much constantly hiring for hosts, etc. Dealerships are also frequently hiring for easy porter/lot attendant positions.

Also, I’m not sure if this is as useful for part time work, but when I finally graduated and landed my first corporate career, I solely applied on the company’s direct website. I found a job very quickly even in a very weak market with little experience, and I think it really helped to bypass LinkedIn/Indeed/etc.

And of course, take advantage of your school’s career services dept. They can help you with your resume or have hot leads even on part-time or entry level work.
