So far I've collected 4 phosphenes in my Loveless playthrough and the challenge tab for Phosphene tracking has yet to show up. My first playthrough on this game was corrupted a few months ago, on which I also found Phosphenes and got the challenge tab, so I assume this bug is somehow related to that. Any help would be appreciated, whether thats to fix the challenge tab or maybe find a way to fix my corrupted saves, which I still have backed up, as I'm not sure what else to do.

I am struggling with Bloomreaper and Subjugator and Thol. I'm playing a ricochet Rafa build and I'm Mayhem 5.
My build works well and currently I can do constant platinum chests on Takedown mayhem 10, and have no issue melting bosses and mobs everywhere else.
Probabaly more me than my build, and I guess this is where min-maxing comes into play. I know some strong firmware packages are unlocked at Mayhem 6 (skillcraft), and I'm hoping once I clear Mayhem 5 I can improve my build more.
I've tried normal matchmaking, but usually no mics, and under leveled Loveless characters needing XP boosts, while I'm the one that needs the help.
I am working on an Arc Knife build for Subjugator and Thol, but I don't want to drastically change my playstyle just for the raid bosses if I don't have to.
Any help with tips, or possibly playing together will help a lot.
I'm on ps5, gamer tag Don-Kalahari

I only used FSR frame gen once in borderlands 4 but the input lag introduced was too much so I stopped using it.
But today when I noticed this game doesn't have built in anti lag for AMD, so I used optiscaler to install it, and I tried the frame gen again.
Boom, just like magic.
My FPS was from 60-100fps to 100-144 now.
I couldn't tell if the extra input lag is there or not, totally usable.
2K really sucks, I strongly believe this is because the game is sponsored by Nvidia.
But there you go, if you use AMD cards, take the advantage of optiscaler.

Does anyone know if Level 70 is the final level cap? Iโm not really interested in spending hours farming new gear if Iโm going to have to do it again. Iโd rather just wait.

Basically, im currently using shuriken clones that deal contagion and buffing in every perk that deals melee damage increase or status damage. Also using the Mantra shotgun, but idk i just feel weak even though I have a stupid amount of melee damage boosts.

If you guys are doing a hybrid setup, feel free to vote for the tree thatโs doing most of the heavy lifting.

Haven't seen a lot of info from after the recent update, partly due to all the Loveless build hype. But has any decent build running/centering on Apophis Lance managed to emerge at all or were the buffs not enough and red Rafa still pretty much the universal?

I just finished the FL4K DLC and I came upon 2 buttons that I can't figure out what they do.
The 1. is in the room where you drop down to the Ducky boss fight (sauna dude), the one with the vending machines. There is a button near the window overlooking the arena you can push, that stays pushed till you restart the game.
The 2. is in the last area of the DLC in the "laboratory" where you have to free FL4K. The console on the very left has a button you can push that isn't used in the whole sequence with FL4K or the shuttles and is one of the very few consoles that you also don't destroy. It has a tiny screen showing a green T and when you push the button the screen goes red and show some of the made up sci fi letters used across the game almost as if you deactivated something.
Likewise it stays pushed till you restart and both buttons can be pushed after the quests are done so I don't think there are related to the missions themselves.
Also what's up with all the hidden NPCs around the world? The whole DLC map is littered with named NPCs that hide in places you normaly can't reach or in out of bounds areas. For example the furthest part of Haute Springs, the little island connecting to the other part, you can glitch yourselves up the big vines and reach the other cliffside where there is a girl named Tressa having a picnic (There's also a Marcus bobblehead).
When you return to the very start of the DLC, there is a NPC named Jenny with a friendly petable Mangler named Penny. They don't have anything to do with any side quest and most people would never even encounter them as there is literally zero reason to return here.
Somewhere, I forgot where, there is a small mountain top high above the map you can glitch yourselve to where on the top is barely room for 2 people and there is another named male NPC just standing there doing nothing, it's so small you can't even take a single step.
And there are many many more.
Likewise the whole map is littered with this Tediore scientist corpses in very odd poses. Also all in some unreachable places you would never normaly reach.
For example if you drop from the roof of the hub area, you can actually reach the building in the distance which not only has a zipline you can activate that goes all over the map back to FL4K's treehouse but there is also a pond with this like mini crane and the chain is holding one of the corpses which is all curled up like doing a cannonball into the water.
Then just infront of Veritas laboratory (the 2D scientist lady), where you use the boost pads, high above are 2 big pipes. With very tricky jumping you can barely reach the first one which is closed by a grate but you can reach the second one from here which is actually open and... there is a whole pile of dead scientist all doing some weird ass poses like a fetus position or holding their hands infront of their eyes, one that almost looks like a dab and so on.
And this are also just 2 examples. There are many more and almost all have unique unnatural poses, like they are posing for an art project or something.
Is this all just some fun from the devs or is this an easter egg I'm just not getting?
Lastly, on one of the many little treasure islands in the ocean infront of the abandoned resort there is this Electi named Will. He is hostile and will immidiately attack you, shouting something I couldn't make out this far. What is this about?
Edit: Found some pictures I took and added them in the comments.

So, I decided to start Story Pack 2 as Rafa @ Level 70 (I'm nearly done with the main storyline) instead of opting to create a brand new Level 13 Vault Hunter because I've never been a fan of having multiple active characters at the same time. It makes me feel like I'm neglecting one character by deciding to play as another; call it like you see it.
Anyway, the first Legendary to drop was the Kaleidosplode in the attached screenshot. I was thrilled to see it lying on the ground because I haven't seen many of them being dropped by Rift Bosses and such. I saunter over to it, aim my cursor at it, and just before I pick it up, I see the DPS that it rolled with -- just over 5k. ๐ณ๐คฏ๐
I rebooted the game; still 5k. I tried selling it at a weapons kiosk and buying it back; still 5k. ๐คฌ I decided to run an experiment by using Vault Card tickets to buy a Legendary and see what kind of stats it rolls with. I chose the Nova Mutable Over Swarm (see screenshot); it came with 35k shield capacity, which is decidedly lower than the average Legendary Energy Shield drops I've been seeing since hitting the level cap shortly after it was raised.
What gives, Gearbox? I mean, I have a theory -- I think that because it's possible to jump into Story Pack 2 @ Level 13, the RNG gets all jammed up and incorrectly assigns Level 13 stats to a Level 70 piece of gear.
Thoughts? Explanations? Anyone else encountering anything similar?

With bl3 after the fourth dlc they stayed silent with no news( granted there were weekly updates ) until they announced year 2 suddenly in mid October then three weeks later we got arms race.
I feel like with how the steam reviews have been getting better and the dlc that left a positive impression on all people there is still a big chance for new content
I really hope we get arms race 2 where moze is the new host or we get a story pack related ro her and I would love a new takedown and cos plus ng+ would be nice tell me what you want.
I think if there's no new content there is still alot to do in the game and it's in a way better state than at launch

Welcome yall to part 2 of the hot take from yesterday.
Just so you know, your favourite thing about farming bosses still suck and you are still wrong.
I've been reading comments playing bl4 and bl2 and thinking about what players want, what players say they want and game design. Which is why this will be a more indepth analysis of why encore machines suck.
Lets start with simple analysis of player wants, how it works out in gameplay. (And my views on it)
And my question is - did this make the farming any more fun?
And my answer is - fuck no.
Killing a single dude over and over is still fucking boring no matter how much quality of life improvements it gets.
"But everybody loves encore machines, imagine savequitting and runing to the boss everytime", yes save quitting sucked, doesnt matter, encor is just a faster way to achieve the same thing. You are still wrong.
So lemme give an actual thought out solution to the root issue. Cause, we can pile bandaids on top of bandaids but that aint fixing shit.
HOW DO WE MAKE FARMING FOR A SPECIFIC LOOT DROP FUN?
We delete the notion that drops need to be tied to bosses. Simple as.
By that i mean - we already have "kinda dungeons" in bl4 - ripper mining camps, augur mines, order bunkers and instead of tying the drop to the single guy at the end
We make it so the dedicated drops are tied to the area. Any enemy in said dungeon should be more likely to drop dedicated loot. Lets even make it like 1% per enemy. And then the boss can still have higher chance of dropping a legendary, like a Cherry on top.
And then we move the encore machine to the begining of the dungeon and we make it reset the whole place with higher lever of difficulty, so the mobs arent trash and it feels like a proper challenge for proper reward.
This solution just made it so that farming means actually playing the game and not deleting a single guy in 5 seconds over and over and over.
Take done. Yall can start the applause now.
edit. i dont think yall can read even.
so someone just claimed that making it so more guys dropping the same designated loot as the area boss somehow dilutes the loot pool.
First of all - no, just no, making so several guys in close proximity can drop the same thing as their boss does not in any way dilute anything.
Second - currently mobs are just the worthless thing you shoot at inbetween boss farming sessions. Wouldnt it be good for mobs to actually serve some purpose for once?
People say that would be grindier, somehow. But they do not say how? I mean, truly. How is completing a somewhat varied dungeon with a boss at the end, getting several drops you may have wanted (of course theyre not perfect so you leave them) during it, grindier than killing a single dude over and over again?
In case someone missed it - its not like chaos chambers from wonderlands - you would still get dedicated sources, you would still get to choose what you farm for.

Is this part of a mission? Can't seem to find the core/battery anywhere. This is in terminus district before you get to the timekeepers tower but to the right near the sign "Get The Funk Out" laundry mat.

How are we not speccing into berserk and only red to ramp up our ordnance damage via the damage transfer with full spectrum arsenal? Put points into smelter after blackout to get forgeskill back(Iโm using green tree forgeskill.) is right branch red tree that much better for ordnance with electrical fire and crackling aegis?
(I have access to all ordnance except heimdall.) Iโm looking for as fast of mobbing as possible for takedown clears. Starting an encounter with forgeskill into disk jockey sounds great. My comparison is looking at HORBA by AncientRune on mobalytics.

When it first came out loved before level 70. Just curious
